Critic Reviews for MULLET MADJACK
If you’ve ever had thoughts of throwing your phone away or abandoning the internet to its robotic rulers, Mullet MadJack taps into that frustration. The neon nostalgia of a better era is fertile ground for a game that feels like beating a microwave to death with a crowbar.
A pleasant surprise for a genre in which everything seemed to be invented. Its proposal becomes more and more addictive, but you have to play it in short doses or you will be exhausted.

Mullet Madjack is a fantastic boomer shooter, with Roguelike elements and loads of fresh mechanics that mean you'll never get bored.
Mullet Mad Jack is a hyper stylized shooter with a lot under the hood. The simple yet addicting gameplay loop is more than enough to keep players engaged for the long term.
Forcing us to live one second at a time, MULLET MAD JACK pays homage to the golden years of anime with contagious passion, the same that gushes from the small details that are difficult to see given the crazy speed of the gameplay. In a crowded landscape like that of old school FPS it's not easy to stand out, yet Jack manages to do so easily thanks to an out of the ordinary personality and mullet.

Mullet Mad Jack is a blistering, balls-to-the-wall throwback to 90s anime and violent, dystopian sci-fi that marries boomer shooters with speedrunning and roguelike aspirations to form an absolutely intoxicating brew. It's short, and there's not much to keep you invested even with infinite floors to climb, but you'll be having a good fucking time while you're in it.
Mullet Madjack is a challenging, creative, and wonderful first person shooter homage to the 1990s that truly is something different. Every level is fun to tackle, with another bit of craziness always just lurking around the corner. Be prepared for unforgiving difficulty and literal restarts.
Combining elements from Ghostrunner and Bulletstorm in a 90s-anime-inspired package, slaying robobillionaires is a blast in Mullet MadJack -- though, it is a bit short.
