Even 8 years later, this game is still one of the best in the franchise and has tons of surprises to discover. Of course, we would have appreciated it if they took advantage of the generational leap to provide important technical innovations.

88 / 100 - MULLET MADJACK

A pleasant surprise for a genre in which everything seemed to be invented. Its proposal becomes more and more addictive, but you have to play it in short doses or you will be exhausted.

84 / 100 - Crow Country
May 9, 2024

A great love letter to the origins of 32-bit survival horror. Well-thought-out puzzles and nostalgia with some humor and horror make this a short experience, but very satisfying, especially for veterans of the genre.

He doesn't invent the wheel, but his recreation of the desert world and, above all, his vehicle battles give him a lot of personality. Ideal for those who want a light and very Toriyamesque adventure.

75 / 100 - Top Spin 2K25

The demanding environment of sports games hosts a title that will not mark an era, but that knows how to highlight its more technical personality.

77 / 100 - Withering Rooms

A good mix of ideas that work well for the most part, although there are some drawbacks that can complicate the lives of certain players. Ideal for fans of classic survival horror, even 16-bit.

Designed for those who want to enjoy a classic adventure with modern conveniences, this game will make Derceto veterans a lot of enjoyment. Don't expect heart-wrenching scares, but an experience of mystery, with gray matter, some smell of gunpowder, and Lovecraftian lore pills.

It's hard to stand out among open-world adventures. Outcast 2 achieves this at times thanks to its light-heartedness and sense of freedom, but neither the missions themselves nor its visual performance manage to rise to the occasion.

79 / 100 - Berserk Boy
Mar 5, 2024

A game that would have blown away fans of platforming and action 30 years ago and remarkable entertainment even by today's standards. The difficulty curve could be worked on a bit more.

It's one of the most extreme and hardcore multiplayer experiences we've ever had, but at the same time catching its madness and overcoming its challenges is very, very satisfying. It's not for the faint of heart, of course.

It's interesting both as a compilation of classic games and for the fun it holds, but you have to keep in mind that they are still the original games, with a good part of the technical and playable flaws (logical for the time) that they had.

It's not going to be the game of the year, but it's a great example of both light RPG adventures and those games that eat your brain out with their decisions. Pure Don't Nod with an extra bit of show.

This game represents like no other the face with nostalgia: it helps us understand that some things have not aged well, but it also reminds us why we were so fascinated by the origin of survival horrors. Especially recommended for tough guys and survivors of another era.

More games are needed in this line, which dare to contribute different ideas within such trite genres as hack and slash. Not everything is perfect in Lysfanga, but its essence is very good.

It may be the best episode of the series and that's saying a lot. An intense role-playing experience that leaves a mark, whether you're a Yakuza veteran or not.

It's not the best fighting game of the year (the competition has been fierce), but it's a good bet for those who want a versatile and accessible show.

It doesn't break the mold in its gameplay proposal, but Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is an amazing recreation of this cinematic universe, with gameplay and narrative moments that will impact you.

54 / 100 - Flashback 2
Nov 17, 2023

A game as legendary as Flashback deserved a far superior return to this adventure that, yes, has some good ideas and passion for science fiction, but also a very poor finish in terms of technique and game design.

In spite of our initial doubts and a rocky start, AC Nexus delivers an engaging and addictive experience that works surprisingly well in virtual reality.
