It's not perfect, but its atmosphere, enigmatic story, and some fresh ideas make it a highly recommended experience for fans of the genre.

Hell is Us is a brave game that embraces free exploration, puzzles, and demanding combat in a hostile environment engulfed by the horrors and brutality of war. Its approach is risky and won't be for everyone, but it manages to offer an immersive, challenging experience with a strong personality. It's a game that, despite its flaws, dares to offer a different way of playing and experiencing its world, and that's worthy of recognition.

The Alters is a challenging and original offering that convincingly combines management, exploration, and existential narrative. The already fascinating premise opens the door to a thought-provoking story, but also to a gameplay that demands a constant balance between the material and the emotional. Every decision counts, every interaction with the Alters matters, and the constant tension keeps the experience intense and immersive. A work that leaves its mark.

Herdling is a small experience in scale but enormous in emotion. Its wordless narrative, the connection with the Calicorns, and the minimalist beauty of its landscapes make it a game that's more felt than played. It's not a title for everyone, but those who connect with its concept will remember it as a unique experience.

SOMA remains one of the most powerful stories the horror genre has offered us in recent years, and this Switch version not only maintains that power, but now, with its recent update, significantly improves the experience on Nintendo's new hardware. If you didn't play it back in the day, this is a more than worthy way to immerse yourself in its existential horrors... even if you do it from the couch or on a laptop in the bathroom.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound not only honors the franchise's legacy in its most classic form, but also proves there's still room to reinvent it without betraying its essence. It's an unexpected return, yes, but also one that leaves us wanting more. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a new era for the 2D saga.

RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is a stand-alone expansion that expands on the original experience, opting for a more direct approach focused on pure action. New weapons, varied enemies, and a setting redolent of the '80s make for a brief but intense experience, ideal for those who enjoyed the base game or simply want more RoboCop. It doesn't revolutionize the formula, but it expands on it successfully.

Overall, this Beat 'Em Up Collection is a small time capsule that allows us to rediscover some of the rarities of the "me against the neighborhood" genre with all the modern conveniences. It's not a perfect compilation, but it's a very enjoyable one for those who appreciate the pixelated 16-bit beat 'em ups.

Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is one of those titles that arrives quietly and ends up leaving us with a smile and wanting more. Fun, surprising, and with mechanics as original as they are well-used, Pocket Trap creates an indie adventure with charisma, sharp criticism, and a whole lot of style. A great little discovery.

COSMIC FANTASY COLLECTION 2 completes the previous volume and successfully revives a forgotten saga of the classic JRPG. Despite some limitations such as a lack of quality-of-life options and some minor localization issues, the collection manages to convey with a certain charm the bizarre personality and unique blend that defined this franchise. A fitting conclusion to a series that, for the first time, we can enjoy in full in English and officially.

FRONT MISSION 3: Remake is a worthy tribute that recaptures the strategic and narrative essence of the original, albeit with a visual that doesn't quite shine as we expected. It's a must-have experience for fans of the series and an excellent entry point for those looking to discover one of the most beloved classics of the tactical genre.

Irem Collection Volume 3 is the second of five classic volumes from the Japanese company Irem. This new compilation includes three more classics from the Japanese developer: Mr. Heli, Mystic Riders, and Dragon Breed. The presentation and options included in the compilation are quite good, although some extras such as galleries or game documentation might be missing to give it more substance. However, we've already seen that the compilation's structure is similar in each volume, and we shouldn't expect any surprises. Fans of Irem and its timeless classics have a must-see with this new volume, and there are still two more to come.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition successfully revives a game that, despite the passage of time, remains as brutal as it is fun. It's not a revolution, but it is a more than decent update that allows you to rediscover an intense campaign and decent multiplayer, now with visual improvements and a few rough edges—which we hope the guys at SneakyBox will iron out. Ideal for fans of the Warhammer universe or for those who missed out on the game back in the day.
