Critic Reviews for Super Adventure Hand
We’ve got to hand it to Devm Games (Moving Out) for coming up with the concept. This is a joyous, eccentric platformer that’s not quite like anything you’ve played before. Though the controls can be frustrating, that’s also the point of this brief, uncannily gripping experience.
If you like Super Adventure Hand's humour and love platforming, you might as well get hands-on with this one and pick it up - you'll have 50 handcrafted levels to go through and plenty of fun to be ha(n)d.
I really enjoyed my time with Super Adventure Hand. This is a physics puzzler with solid controls and entertaining bite-sized gameplay. The game felt at its peak when it experimented with more unusual mechanics like vehicles and level design. It faulted a little bit for me by relying too heavily on key collecting. Regardless, Super Adventure Hand still had me hooked to the end. While the game is only single-player, I can see this being a fun novelty experience to share with loved ones in the same room. Maybe swapping the controller or Switch between levels. This will likely get a giggle or two, if nothing else. It gets a solid one thumb up from me.
The gameplay is an interesting twist on a 3D platformer. While the art is nice and music is catchy, more thought could be put into the level design.
Quirky and generally well-implemented, this variation on platforming is far from being all thumbs
Super Adventure Hand! is a silly and fun platformer with an interesting gimmick.
