Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park Reviews
Super Mario Bros Wonder was a return to greatness on the OG Switch and with its performance tweaks and incorporation of new multiplayer excitement thanks to Meetup in Bellabel Park, this is a must have game if you missed it the first time around. Whether you're playing solo or with friends (it is the perfect party game), you'll be fully immersed from the first level to the last that also showcases the Nintendo Switch 2.
It's certainly a successful experiment, but the speed with which all the content is consumed makes this update very difficult to recommend to all players.

This review might sound flat on the game, but that’s only because the “DLC” that’s been added to the Switch 2 upgrade is difficult to be quite so enthusiastic about. Still, if this is your first time with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, it’s adding more to an already brilliant package, and if you already have the game, the “DLC” is only $20, which is more than reasonable as an excuse to dust it off for another whirl.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is an overall fun package for those who want additional challenges and multiplayer features. There's a surprising amount to see and do, alongside the existing campaign - especially the solo training stages. It is a shame, though, that the new minigame portion is strictly limited to multiplayer, with a lack of bots or public online lobbies. For newcomers and existing players, it might well be worth experiencing the standard Super Mario Bros. Wonder release first and consider upgrading only if you crave a second helping.
These Nintendo Switch 2 Editions have all been very impressive but Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is the most jam-packed one to date, especially with its super-imaginative multiplayer challenges and epic Koopaling encounters. 💐
For newcomers especially, this is the definitive version of one of the Switch era’s finest platformers.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park enhances the package while at the same time celebrating everything that made Wonder so brilliant in the first place
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park doesn't just improve the base game, but completes it, refines it, and at the same time adds more challenges.

It’s got some interesting new features, but nothing that makes the game even better. Though seeing as Super Mario Bros. Wonder is one of the best 2D Mario games ever, the phrase “gilding the lily” seems fairly appropriate.
Players looking for a challenge will find plenty to keep them busy. Whether through badges that make the game more challenging or as the difficulty level spikes significantly later on. The latter, however, feels a bit like hitting a wall. While you might have just breezed through a four-star level on your first try, you’ll easily use up 20 lives just to reach the checkpoint in a five-star level. And there are also levels where players are intentionally prevented from placing any units, even if they wanted to.

Updating to or buying Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park is not a particularly hard sell. Anyone who loves a bit of a Mario adventure or wants to revisit Mario Wonder will have a blast and enjoy the new content and visual updates. Having all the new content from Rosalina to the multiplayer addons is really neat and helps breathe new life into Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder (NS2) + Meetup in Bellabel Park delivers exactly what fans expect from an expansion: meaningful new content that enhances the core experience while keeping the original magic intact. The additions feel fresh and playful, elevating the base game to a new level without losing its charm. It’s a package that solidifies Wonder’s place as one of the standout titles on Switch 2.

Ultimately, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is much more than just a simple re-release: it’s an enriched, generous, and intelligently designed version that enhances the experience in every way. With new content, multiplayer additions, accessibility options, and technical improvements, Nintendo has successfully breathed new life into an already excellent game. In my opinion, this is quite simply the best title to have received the “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” treatment so far, and a must-have for both new players and those looking to dive back into the Kingdom of Flowers.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder remains a standout platformer. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition adds an excellent technical boost, a enjoyable selection of multiplayer pastimes, and some genuinely demanding new challenges. It's more remix than reinvention, but the core brilliance remains.
It's still hard to find anything bad to say about the game itself. Of course, re-releasing a title that already worked perfectly fine in first place is somewhat pointless. On the other hand, if the great source material gets a new audience this way, so be it. Especially first-time platforming fans, go shopping!

The Switch 2 version isn’t just an upgrade with better-looking graphics; it is packed with loads of new content. With a wide range of offline and online multiplayer modes to work together or against each other, fan favourite characters Rosalina and Luma being added to the playable roster, and all seven Koopalings returning with their own unique boss battles, there is so much to do and enjoy on top of the base game.
It’s an almost perfect platformer, and the new version is only better. Is the 80 PLN upgrade worth it? I think so. An essential title for every Switch 2 owner and a truly wonderful game.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park is a grand upgrade to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, thanks to its noticeable visual improvements and an abundance of varied new content. Whilst the visual upgrade should probably have been a separate and free update, the actual new stages and characters are at least worth the price of admission, especially if you’ve yet to play Wonder for the first time.
