Critic Reviews for Sine Mora EX
One of the best-looking 2D shooters of recent years is remastered for the current gen, and offers a fun way in for gamers new to the genre.
I don't consider Sine Mora EX to be a game that sets the genre on fire, or redefines shmup gameplay in general. But it is very well-priced, looks fantastic, has replay value and is a fun and ferocious slice of old-school arcade action, one that can be enjoyed by battle-scarred veterans and eager rookies alike.
Sine Mora EX is a very interesting game inside the ‘shoot´em up' genre and has some innovative mechanics. However, this remastered version is not enough for those who have tried previously the game.

Tough, expansive, and boasting a surprisingly mature narrative, Sine Mora EX is a remaster done right. Offering native 4K visuals – if you've got the right kit – tons of content and rock-solid gameplay, side-scrolling shooters simply don't get much better than this.
A solid extended version of a very good shooter in which you can complete levels manipulating time.

An old school shoot'em up that only add a few changes to its original formula. It may not be innovative, but it's still fun.

Sine Mora EX is an excellent shoot em up with a dark narrative and some really nice boss fights and is only held back by a few flaws and its asking price.
Sine Mora EX is a tough-as-nails but engrossing shoot ‘em up that has some innovative mechanics and a pretty interesting story. While it may not be for everyone, those who are interested in the genre will find something to love with the new improvements that the EX version provides.
