We now know what the second game coming to PS Plus for the month of June will be.
On the PlayStation Blog it was revealed that the second game coming to PS Plus in the month of June is Star Wars Battlefront II. The game will be available to download on Tuesday, June 2nd. Battlefront II has players drop onto different iconic worlds from the Star Wars series and battle it out. The game allows players to take control of a number of iconic Star Wars characters on the battlefield, including characters such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Rey. Players will be able to enjoy the game's 25 free updates that have dropped since the game's launch, which includes online Co-op, offline battles against AI enemies in Instant Action, and the non-linear multiplayer tug-of-war between planetary surfaces and capital ships in Capital Supremacy.
Earlier this week it had been announced that Call of Duty: WWII would be a part of PS Plus for the month of June. WWII returns the Call of Duty franchise to one of the biggest conflicts in history, which helped inspire some of the early games in the series. In the game's campaign, players will experience the front line role across Europe in missions inspired by key moments from World War II. The game also features the multiplayer action that gamers have come to expect from Call of Duty titles. Call of Duty: WWII is already available to download as a part of the PlayStation Plus subscription service.
There is still time to pick up PS Plus' games for the month of May. The first game that was available this month was Cities: Skylines. In this title, players were given a small community and are tasked with turning it into a bustling megacity. The second game for the month of May is Farming Simulator 19. Farming Simulator 19 has players embrace the country lifestyle as they manage a farm by growing crops, raising livestock, riding horses, and drive one of over 300 vehicles. Both titles will be available to download until Monday, June 1st.
Star Wars Battlefront II and Call of Duty: WWII will be available to download until Monday, July 6th after they are released on PS Plus.
