Pikmin 3 Deluxe was officially announced this past August. The game will allow players to play the main story through co-op on the same Switch. Pikmin 3 Deluxe will feature new prologue and epilogue stories starring two of the franchise's stars, Olimar and Louie. The game will now feature a mechanic called the Piklopedia, which will keep track of all the creatures that players will come across throughout the game. Quality of life improvements are also being made. This includes and enhanced lock-on targeting system, enemy balancing changes, and more.
There will also be a new mode for Pikmin 3 Deluxe called Bingo Battle. In this multiplayer mode, both players are given bingo cards, which they will have to fill with various creatures and items. Gamers can sabotage the other player by throwing their Pikmin at them, helping cause a little bit of chaos for that player.
