Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is being released again later this year.
It has been announced that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be getting a 4K UHD release later this year (via GameSpot). The movie will release on June 8th, and will retail for $30.99. The 4K version of the movie will include the 26 minutes additional footage that was added in the movie's 2009 release.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children originally released in 2005. The movie takes place two years after the events of the original Final Fantasy VII. The ruins of Midgar stand as a testament to the sacrifices made in order to bring peace to the world. Cloud, who has stepped away from being a hero in order to live in solitude, must once again step forward. A new and mysterious illness is spreading, and is linked to an insidious plot to resurrect an old adversary. Cloud must now leave his life of solitude to once again take up his sword in order to fight this new threat.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will release two days before Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, an enhanced version of Final Fantasy Remake that is coming to the PlayStation 5. Intergrade will take advantage of the PlayStation 5's power, and will include faster loading times, enhanced visuals, and 60 fps gameplay. Intergrade will also come with a new difficulty mode as well as a photo mode. The game will also include a new DLC episode that centers around Yuffie, who has made her way into Midgar in order to steal the Ultimate Materia from the Shinra Electric Power Company. Those who have Final Fantasy VII Remake on the PlayStation 4 can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free, though they will have to purchase the Yuffie episode separately.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is available now for the PlayStation 4. Intergrade will release for the PlayStation 5 on June 10th.
