Rocket League and Formula 1 are crossing over.
On the Rocket League website, it was announced that a Formula 1 Fan Pack will be released on May 20th. The Fan Pack will be available for 2,000 credits. The Pack includes the Formula 1 2021 Car, 10 decals for all of the Formula 1 teams, and a set of Pirelli Wheels. The new car comes fully equipped with a rocket boost and a Dominus hitbox.
To celebrate the arrival of Formula 1 in Rocket League, players can pick up a Formula 1 Player Banner in the item shop for free starting on May 20th. The Formula 1 Fan Pack and the free banner will be available until May 26th. However, it was announced that the items will return later this year to coincide with major Formula 1 events.
The Formula 1 crossover with Rocket League is not the only partnership that the game has had in recent times. Earlier this month, the car soccer title teamed up with NASCAR. The partnership added vehicles to the game, as well as Goodyear tires.
Rocket League is currently in the midst of its third Season. The Season will run until August. During the Season, players will be able to take on weekly and Seasonal challenges in order to to unlock customization items. New items have been added to the competitive tournament rewards. A new Competitive Season also began with the start of Season 3. Season 3 also came with a new Rocket Pass Premium, which includes additional weekly and Seasonal challenges, as well as access to pro tiers beyond tier 70. Rocket League is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. Rocket League is free-to-play.
