The next character coming to Guilty Gear Strive has been announced.

Arc System Works has announced Guilty Gear Strive's next playable character. The next character is Jack-O', who first made her appearance as a fighter in the series in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. Jack-O' will be available on August 27th for those who own the game's Season Pass, which is available now for $29.99. She will then be available for everyone else on August 30th, and will cost $6.99.

Jack-O' is the second character to release as a part of Guilty Gear Strive's Season Pass. She follows Goldlewis Dickinson, who released last month. The Season Pass will feature five characters. The third character will be added to the game later this year, while the other two characters will release next year. According to Arc System Works, the characters that are on the way for Guilty Gear Strive will be a mix of new characters and series veterans. The title's Season Pass also include two new stages, both of which will be released next year. It will also feature new Story Mode content, which will be exclusive to the Season Pass.

Last month dataminers found voice lines in Guilty Gear Strive that hinted at which characters are on the way for the game. The voice lines seemed combat related, giving the impressions that these characters could be coming to the fighter. The four characters that were found at the time were Slayer, Baiken, Jack-O', and Happy Chaos, all of whom showed up in the game's story. Now that Jack-O' has been announced for Guilty Gear Strive, this datamine has gained more credence. We will have to wait to see if Jack-O' was a coincidence or if these are the characters coming to the game.

Guilty Gear Strive is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
