The next Pokémon coming to Pokémon Unite has been announced.
It has been announced that Blissey will be coming to Pokémon Unite (via Siliconera). Blissey will release for the game on August 18th. She will be a Supporter who can act as a healer, and will be able to boost the basic attack speed of ally Pokémon. However, Blissey's full moveset has not been revealed just yet, and it is unknown if it will start games as a Chansey or will be fully evolved from the start. The only confirmed move for Blissey is Bliss Assistance, which has the Pokémon run to the nearest ally to help them.
Blissey follows Gardevoir as a DLC character for Pokémon Unite (also via Siliconera). Gardevoir was released last month, and was the first DLC addition to the game. Gardevoir is a Ranged Attacker. Gamers can obtain it for 8,000 Aeos Coins or 460 Aeos Gems through the in-game shop. There is currently another Pokémon available for gamers to obtain. Those who download the MOBA title on the Nintendo Switch before August 31st will receive Zeraora for free.
Pokémon Unite is a 5v5 MOBA that pits Pokémon such as Pikachu, Charizard, and more against each other. Each Pokémon is controlled by a player, who can choose from five different battle types: Attacker, Speedster, All-rounder, Defender, and Supporter. Gamers can defeat wild Pokémon to level up and evolve their character to make them more powerful. Players can also utilize Unite Moves, which are powerful moves exclusive to Pokémon Unite that can turn the tides of battle. The goal is to collect Aeos energy to deposit in the opponents' goal zones and to knock out the opposing Pokémon to prevent them from scoring points.
Pokémon Unite is available now for the Nintendo Switch. It will come to mobile devices next month.
