HoYoverse has showcased a new Honkai: Star Rail map, the Shackling Prison, that's set to debut as part of the game's next major update. The Chinese developer also announced another Honkai: Star Rail anime collaboration for 2025.
Honkai: Star Rail was released for PC and mobile in April 2024 before making its way to the PlayStation 5 half a year later. The gacha RPG has been receiving regular updates ever since.
Stellar Jades is a crucial currency in Honkai: Star Rail as players need them to get new characters in the game.
Its next content drop will arrive in the form of the Version 2.4 update, Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue, which has just received a global release date, July 31. U.S. players will technically get to play it a bit earlier, starting at 11pm ET on July 30, due to time zone differences. One of the novelties arriving as part of the Honkai: Star Rail 2.4 update is a new map called the Shackling Prison. Its addition will expand on the lore of Hanya and Xueyi, not least because the facility itself is run by their organization, the Ten-Lords Commission, also known as the Long Life Supervisory Authority....
