Rumors continue to swirl regarding another Marvel and Fortnite collaboration in an upcoming season, with a new leak seemingly confirming a brand-new skin for Doctor Doom being part of a future battle pass. Collaborations in Fortnite have become a massive part of the experience, with Epic Games featuring franchises and IPs from all over the media landscape, like video games, movies, TV shows, and even music icons for its Festival component.
One of the more frequent collaborators in Fortnite has been Marvel, featuring tons of its legendary characters as skins and even as a seasonal storyline, while also returning the favor by featuring the popular game in its comics. Even after the world saving even involving Galactus back during Chapter 2 Season 4, numerous rumors seem to indicate that Marvel and Fortnite are collaborating again starting as early as Chapter 5, Season 3. From a marketing perspective, the timing makes sense with Marvel preparing to launch the highly anticipated Deadpool and Wolverine film, though recent leaks have indicated that the season will contain plenty of features and a possible mini-event, as well as a skin for a popular Fantastic Four character.
