PC fans have been pining for the Halo series for more than a decade and have been teased throughout those years that the venerated XBox series would finally be coming to PC. Well, dreams do come true! Microsoft and 343 Studios have announced Halo: The Master Chief Edition coming to PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Games in the collection include:

  • Halo: Reach
  • Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
  • Halo 2: Anniversary
  • Halo 3
  • Halo 3: ODST Campaign
  • Halo 4

The games will be released incrementally and in sequential order rather than releasing all of them at once. There is no news, however, on when fans might see the first game in the Collection, but we're hoping it's soon!

Honoring the iconic hero and his epic journey, The Master Chief’s story is brought together with a total of 67 campaign missions plus more than 120 multiplayer maps (including the original Halo Combat Evolved maps) and Spartan Ops maps. Now built for PC with mouse and keyboard support and up to 4K UHD and HDR, this is the collection Halo fans have been waiting for!
