6 / 10.0 -
Feb 6, 2020

Warcraft III was a great game, but I struggle to find a reason to return to it in this form. Reforged has a laundry list of bugs, lack of polish, multiplayer options markedly amiss from the original offering, and uninspiring new assets

The deadly dangers combined with randomization make for a frustrating inconsistent mix that's more about ‘90s nods than entertainment

If you’re looking for a true-to-form Double Dragon title, this is it. However, with decades passing since the original and nothing to propel it forward outside of the ancient IP, you may have difficulty finding the fun

Plays things too safe and generic, relying on classic sensibilities and only bringing massive unit battles to the forefront. With little room to excel via micromanagement, conflicts devolve into blobs of of units blindly barraging each other

Jurassic World Evolution is a mixed experience, at times reveling in its fantasy and becoming bogged down in its own systems in others. If you're a fan of the franchise it's a fun dip into the prehistoric pool, but the water isn't deep enough to satisfy a voracious carnivore.

With three different core paths to take and tons of optional adventures, there's a ton of content to consume. However, the combat feels like it could use some work and the lengthy, sometimes absurd diatribes that NPCs launch into can bog the adventure down
