I wanted to love Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare with the same zeal I have for the original series, but this shooter variation lacks a lot of imagination. The action gameplay generally feels forced, and the bits of strategy that do exist are minute in comparison.

If you're looking for an open-world game with lots of side quests, a satisfying story told through groundbreaking animation, and an arsenal of one-of-a-kind superpowers, Infamous: Second Son has it all.
The Last Tinker: City of Colors is best shared with friends or family who enjoy a good story and pretty artwork. It's not difficult, it's not aggressive, and it's not online, so it definitely belongs in the gentler category of family games like the Lego series.
