Capcom has merged classic and modern mechanics effortlessly to deliver the best Resident Evil we’ve seen in years. It marks a true return to form for the undead franchise.

8.5 / 10.0 - Battlefield 4
Nov 6, 2013

It's your typical Battlefield experience, filled with vehicle and infantry warfare as well as large, destructible environments. If you're a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed. If you're not a fan, this might just make you one.

Reaper of Souls takes Diablo III and makes it much better, simple as that. I would highly recommend it to any fan who has decided to skip it. This is what Diablo III should have been!

By their very nature, MMO's evovle - but as it stands right now, The Elder Scrolls online isn't a worthwhile investment. If you're an Elder Scrolls fan, you might want to give it a try but I do think you may be a teeny bit disappointed. If you're an MMORPG fan, there are some ideas here that you will certainly like.

6 / 10.0 - Daylight
May 6, 2014

It's just let down by the repetitiveness and enemies that soon reveal themselves to be nothing more than a nuisance. Ultimately, the biggest shock Daylight gave me was the realisation that I was out to collect stuff instead of surviving the horrors around me. Don't say you weren't warned

8.5 / 10.0 - WildStar
Jun 19, 2014

If you've never tried an MMO, Wildstar may be the game to get its hooks in to you. If you're a veteran, I have a strong feeling that you will like what is on offer.

There is no doubt that this expansion offers some great value to newcomers, offering them the whole Company of Heroes 2 multiplayer component for as little as $12.99. For those who already own the game, the new factions and maps will offer differentiation, but not a great deal of value.

6 / 10.0 - Pure Pool
Sep 3, 2014

While Pure Pool is a great pool simulator, the problems I had left me feeling snookered. If those issues could be ironed out, and multiplayer fixed with a proper matchmaking tool, it would honestly be a solid title to spend6.0 some time with. For now though, I've just resorted to keeping it in windowed mode, taking my shots now and then between the other games I play.

What's mind blowing is that Nintendo have somehow put Super Smash Bros into pockets without cutting corners. The game has a wealth of content to keep players busy for many, many hours. Fans will be well pleased and newcomers will be set down the path to Smash Bros addiction.

Sledgehammer Games have taken a huge risk by sending the series so far into the future. Some fans may feel left behind, but the simple truth is should they choose to ignore the title, they will be missing out. This is one of the better Call of Duties in recent years. It's fresh enough to the point that it's alien, yet it's still Call of Duty underneath that futuristic surface.

Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U is a no-brainer. If you own the console, there really is no reason for not owning the title already. There is enough content, fun, and joy to keep players busy for perpetuity.

A great start to what will hopefully result in a solid and memorable entry in the Resident Evil franchise. If the following episodes are as good as this one, I firmly believe it will be.

A minor improvement over the first episode. New enemies, new weapons, and a slightly longer duration – if Capcom can keep this up, Revelations 2 will definitely be a great game overall.

Yet another polished episode from Capcom. The story may not be up to scratch, but the game remains fun and enjoyable. The only way Revelations 2 could ever hope to stumble is if next week's episode is a total shamble. This somehow, given the track record of the first three episodes, seems incredibly unlikely.

A disappointing conclusion to an otherwise great game. There are some redeeming factors in episode 4 at least. Good gameplay and epic environments make up for the lacklustre story.

5.5 / 10.0 - Son of Nor
Apr 17, 2015

A game with lots of great ideas that just aren't implemented as well as you'd hope. Son of Nor is lacking in some areas, but still manages to invoke a few hours of fun nonetheless – if you can look past its rough edges.

8.5 / 10.0 - Heroes of the Storm
Jun 19, 2015

Heroes of the Storm is the perfect place for newcomers to experience the MOBA genre. It's simple and easy to get into. It shouldn't be dismissed by veterans either. There is a layer of complexity that even the most hardcore of MOBA gamers can appreciate.

Farming Simulator has a long way to go if it is to be enjoyed by the typical gamer. Lack of proper tutorials, glaring AI problems, and a long grind make it nearly unbearable – at least to those who have zero interest in farming. For those who appreciate agriculture however, Farming Simulator 15 does exactly what it says on the box, and they will likely enjoy the product.

The Phantom Pain is an unusual Metal Gear experience, one that not everybody may enjoy if they cling to systems of old. If they're willing to adapt and accept this new way of exploring Kojima's world however, they are going to be blown away, absolutely, and one hundred percent guaranteed. This new open world is one that is begging to be played with, in whatever way a player wishes.

8.3 / 10.0 - Guitar Hero Live
Oct 20, 2015

Guitar Hero Live provides a whole new experience to veterans, yet manages to be accessible enough for those who are only just starting their digital rock careers. It's a solid title, though the streaming service GHTV could use some tweaking to make the game an absolute must-have.
