9 / 10.0 - Nidhogg
Jan 15, 2014

Nidhogg is yet more proof that a simple concept with a simple goal can work, and work well. In a way, it reminds me of a Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament; simple combat and pure competition, that's what makes Nidhogg so amazing.

8.5 / 10.0 - Yoshi's New Island

Solid platforming with interesting, sometimes non-linear level design and varied mechanics that influence movement and how you play. The bosses are a little dull, but the levels before and in between make up for it. Fans of the series should be rather pleased.

For what it offers, the price is right for Garden Warfare. The price reflects the rather meager content, but Garden Warfare is fun. I love the new direction Popcap is taking with PVZ, and if I wasn't a fan before, I certainly am now.

6.5 / 10.0 - King Oddball
Apr 2, 2014

King Oddball is fun, it really is. I could see myself playing this on my phone, or even my Vita, even though there are much better things to play on Vita. But as far as I can see, there is absolutely no reason to buy this on Ps4, and if this appeals to you, I would recommend buying it on a mobile platform.

Doki Doki Universe is enjoyable for the first hour. After that, it becomes unbearably repetitive
