Adding a new type of room doesn't sound like a very big change for a game, but it adds so much variety that Rebirth honestly feels like a new game, and not just The Binding of Isaac: Now With More Items. For that reason, we strongly recommend this game even if you already have the original version, though as we noted already, the tone and content of this game isn't for everyone.

If you're a gamer who is familiar with Telltale, then the game is easy to recommend - it feels a little weaker than The Walking Dead, but there are moments of pure brilliance that show what is possible with this world. If you're a fan of Game of Thrones who doesn't play video games normally, then this is still easy to recommend. You don't need quick reflexes or to understand gaming. You just need to be invested in the story to play.

Despite its flaws, we still had fun with Supreme League of Patriots, but your enjoyment of the game will depend heavily on whether its sense of humour clicks for you or not. The trailer above does give a sense of the tone of the game, and if that doesn't instantly make you want more, then this game definitely isn't for you.

The problem is that taken individually, the episodes don't seem to be going anywhere yet. And we've got another long wait ahead of us before the next episode releases. It's almost like being a fan of the books, waiting for George R R Martin to release the next one. We've been waiting for years though, so if you're someone who follows only the TV series, don't expect any sympathy.

Grim Fandango Remastered is a remake done right - it respects the source material, brings it up to date for modern hardware and adds a little extra as well. Hopefully, more gamers will buy it this time around, because otherwise we could in for another 20 years of first person shooters in varying shades of brown.

8 / 10 - WWE 2K16
Nov 9, 2015

WWE 2k16 is a strong entry in the series, and feels like a more enjoyable game than the previous entry. That said, it's not changed dramatically - the core gameplay remains similar and if you didn't like the last few games in the series then you'll probably want to skip this one. However, for fans who want the newest rosters and ring improvements, along with a great career mode to play through, this game really delivers.

8 / 10 - Battleborn
May 10, 2016

If you have the option, don't play this game alone. That's a great way to dislike Battleborn. There is no real loot to collect, and the story is threadbare. It's about having fun with friends and strangers, and if that does not appeal to you, then this game is not likely to please.

Unscored - Reigns

The real strength of the game is the crisp and enjoyable writing that's full of sly jokes, which play on your expectations and tell a novel story in a completely new way.

7 / 10 - WWE 2K17
Oct 31, 2016

Much like the games before it, the forgiving nature of the fights and the over the top visuals makes it a lot of fun to play with friends when you're not actually taking things seriously. In that sense, the series has constantly delivered, and WWE2K17 is no exception. If you've not got any of the earlier games, this is a good one to add to your collection.

In short, Reigns: Her Majesty more Reigns, but better. If you liked the first game, you'll love this one too.
