In conclusion, King’s Quest Once Upon a Climb is an endearing story about King Graham’s search for love in this wondrous fairy tale inspired world that I’m sure Roberta Williams and the old gang at Sierra would definitely give their blessings. Compared to the previous chapters, I found this current instalment a little on the easier side but thankfully the narrative held me quite captivated from start to finish and I’m really eager to see how this modern incarnation of King’s Quest plays out.

StarCraft 2 Nova Covert Ops Mission Pack is a fun albeit short StarCraft experience but Blizzard really set the foundation for things to come and I can’t wait to see it play out. With around 2 hours of gameplay, maybe a bit more if you pace yourself, Nova Covert Ops is definitely a must have add-on for all fans of StarCraft 2.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is another enjoyable instalment of this franchise that both plays, looks and sounds great on the PlayStation 4. If you're looking for a fun fighter which doesn't take itself too seriously or has complex controls, then you really should check out Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 as it's a very solid fighter!

4 / 5.0 - Just Dance 2016
Nov 9, 2015

In the end, Just Dance 2016 is a really fun party game on the PlayStation 4 that creates your own nightclub or disco experience in the comfort of your own lounge room. Sure, the gameplay isn't 100% accurate but deep down, Just Dance 2016 is a fun music experience that is filled with strange and sometimes awkward dancing that is ideal for two or more people.

All in all, episode 4 is a good instalment and let's hope that the next episode comes sooner rather than later which may hurt the revelations found in episode four but if you enjoyed the previous stories, you'll enjoy this one. So how does Amber, Frank, Nathan, Veronica, Warren, Chloe and Max all connect? The answer will be found out in episode 5!

Fantasia Music Evolved is a very interesting concept from Harmonix that actually works quite well on the Kinect 2 and you do feel like a magical conductor as you manipulate the music with your gestures. The only let down with the game is that once you have finished it a few times and tried to collect all the achievements and aimed for the high score, the replay value does become a little stagnant.

4 / 5.0 - Bayonetta
Feb 15, 2018

Bayonetta on the Nintendo Switch is a very fun experience on this console and it feels like a bad 70's action movie and the story, characters and quirkiness of the gameplay is pure ingenious.

Sure, Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited has been on the PC for awhile now and although the graphics may not match the PC version, it's definitely a far smoother experience in terms of gameplay and ZeniMax Online Studios should be commended on creating a great control system that really makes this a sturdy MMORPG experience on the XBox One. The only cost that you need is a valid Xbox Gold account and most players can dodge the premium transaction aspect of the game if they want too.

4 / 5.0 - Just Dance 2015
Oct 28, 2014

Just Dance 2015 is easily one of the best dancing games available and sure, it doesn't add much to genre but when a game is this good, there's not really a lot to change or add. With exceptional graphics, decent gameplay thanks to the Kinect 2 and a truly pumping track list, Just Dance 2015 is definitely a must have title if you love singing, dancing or both… so grab your friends and get ready to have the best dance off of 2014. Recommended!

4 / 5.0 - Never Alone
Dec 6, 2014

Never Alone is beautifully presented on the Xbox One and successfully tells the story of the Iñupiat people through the eyes of Nuna and her pet fox. Sure, it may not be the most original title with its gameplay but its captivating characters and information create a thoroughly enjoyable experience on the Xbox One about a world encompassed by a never ending blizzard with magical spirit characters.

Although quite a short game, Life is Strange Episode 1 Chrysalis definitely brings a unique freshness to the gaming world and definitely gives a great twist and alternative to the Telltale Games. It has a very likeable character that when combined with the interesting gaming mechanics of time travel, it really makes you question the choices you make for Max that ended with me craving for more.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is definitely a bit better than the previous game on the PS3 and XBox 360 and does offer the gamer some great replay value, especially when it comes to unlocking all the goodies such as costumes and items. With that said, the game still feels a little previous-gen in terms of its controls and I'm still waiting to see that true next-gen fighter on either the PS4 or the XBox One.

4.1 / 5.0 - WarioWare Gold
Aug 6, 2018

If you're looking for some short bursts of fun then WarioWare Gold successfully ticks this brief on the Nintendo 3DS. It's also one of those games that really draws you, however if you play it too much, you literally overeat so finding that perfect balance of play time is needed. With that said, the 3DS version doesn't really add that much to the franchise but the unique control mechanics and games does make for an enjoyable time, even though some of the mini-games fail. So although WarioWare Gold doesn't get a gold medal on this occasion, it still deserves a solid bronze as it's a great homage to Nintendo.

The Flame in the Flood is a beautiful game on the PlayStation 4 that puts the player in control a very likeable protagonist and her dog. The gameplay is not only challenging but also rewarding, particularly when you overcome an obstacle that has caused you grief. Add in some very gorgeous graphics, a soothing soundtrack and all in all, The Flame in the Flood is not only a very original game but quite enjoyable for this rogue-like survival experience.

4.1 / 5.0 - Star Fox Zero
May 1, 2016

Star Fox Zero is a fun game on the Wii U not only offers some entertaining gameplay but some immersive level design matched with first class graphics and audio. Sure it's a little dated here and there but overall, Platinum Games should be commended on bringing this game to the 21st century.

God of War III Remastered almost feels like a new game and considering it's been almost 5 years since since I played the original, I still thoroughly enjoyed this experience on the PlayStation 4. Seeing Kratos rendered at 1080p with all the detail is how this god killer should be seen and the gameplay is just as fun. Add in some DLC costumes and God of War III is definitely a worthy purchase which retails for around $55AUD.

4.1 / 5.0 - ScreamRide
Mar 3, 2015

Screamride is a very entertaining game on the Xbox One that successfully creates that virtual roller-coaster experience from start to finish. There's some great replay value included in the game and some very good use of real-world physics with some over the top challenges for players to complete.

4.1 / 5.0 - Neverwinter
Jun 24, 2013

Neverwinter is definitely one of the best Dungeons & Dragons games that we have seen using the MMO archetype. The world is quite descriptive and the developers ensure that it is well linked to Dungeons & Dragons. Although at times, it is a game of grinding, Neverwinter for us is more about exploration and team work which definitely has us addicted.

If you're a fan of the previous LEGO Batman games or you love DC Comics, than I could happily recommend LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham to you. As mentioned time and time again, it is a LEGO game that at times can become a little repetitive but TT Games have tried to keep it fresh and unique by adding new gaming mechanics into the title. It also has over 150 characters to unlock (yes I'm serious) that also increases the replay value but best of all, it feels like a DC Comics game and that my friends is where LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham succeeds!
