XCOM: Enemy Unknown meets Mission: Impossible! But not as good as that pitch suggests
There are a lot of people who will get a kick out of Prey: Mooncrash, and we respect this - and we realise and like that it's a different type of challenge to the main game. However, we loved Prey and Mooncrash just left us cold.
If you already own the Season Pass for Far Cry 5 give it a go, but we doubt you'd want to buy Hours of Darkness separately. Save your money for the far more fun sounding zombie and alien expansions.
The final part of Wolfenstein 2's DLC Season Pass is lots of fun, but it's probably the worst episode.
We get the impression that Sonic Team wanted Forces to be the Best Sonic Game Ever, with a Greatest Hits package of everything good in the series, but they didn't have the time, money or talent to accomplish this.
If you’re in the mood for a simple dungeon crawler to kill a few minutes, Dungeon Rushers is nicely affordable. Anyone else, you might want to upgrade to Hero Quest. You’ve got a few friends right?
Fallout 4's first DLC expansion is here! But is it a Shivering Isles or more Horse Armour of course?
It may be a pretty mindless package overall, but it’s not completely without brains.
Light has great ideas but fails to use them in any meaningful way or make any lasting impression - it's like the setup to a great game that never comes. Shame.
The first half was so frustrating I almost cried, and the second half was actually pretty entertaining. Oh, and the whole game was 3 hours long. And you can't use either mouse or arrow keys on the main menu for some reason. In short, fix these problems Over The Moon and maybe the second episode of The Fall will be all fun and not just the last hour.
Several antiquated mechanics like the limited supply of torches and the unhelpful hint system also serve to make exploring Shadowgate Castle more frustrating than it should be, and that's even before we debate whether baffling cryptic trial-and-error puzzles are a good thing or not. Shadowgate is a faithful update then, but Zojoi have squandered the opportunity to actually update the gameplay too.
There's just so little to do, and if you don't like commenting on videos you won't see anything here but a bunch of crazy confusing videos. Lovely idea, not for me or people like me, but a community of people already love it so feel free to ignore me and give it a go.
Randal's Monday gets so much right it's depressing that it gets the crucial gameplay part wrong.
There is fun to be had and Daedalic have done their best to keep battles interesting, but often things can get very frustrating and it's hard not to come to the realisation that you're just doing the same things over and over again. Daedalic have made two excellent adventures out of The Dark Eye, but they've yet to make a good RPG.
There are no interesting or relatable characters and I found myself skipping most of the movies after I just couldn't take it anymore. There are things to like about Type-0 once you get past the boring beginning, but unless you have a high tolerance for really bad anime or are a desperate Final Fantasy fan you might want to skip Type-0.
There are scares here, but not much game. Ye have been warned.
Bandai Namco's latest falls disappointingly short outside of the thrills and spills of its excellent battle system, but your mileage may vary depending on your fondness for anime.
The enjoyable Cthulhu detective story is enough to be worth seeing through, but it’s a mystery why the other parts of the game couldn’t be as strong.
The remastered version of the Indomitable Gauls' latest adventure is here, but is it worth going back to Las Vegum?
On one side, we can’t deny we had a lot of fun dipping in and out of Just Cause 4. It’s an exciting, crazy sandbox with some wonderful tools and pretty non-stop action. The downside is - Just Cause 3 did most of this stuff a lot better.
