Star Wars: Battlefront is a decent shooter that injects a handful of gimmicks to keep the gameplay interesting. However a lack of variety in the maps, game modes, guns, and character development prevents the game from reaching its potential.

A change of scenery does the Far Cry shooter series good. Primal's caveman drama, beast-taming, and prehistoric hunting are highly satisfying, even though we've tread this ground before. Can we get dinosaurs next, please?

Mankind Divided offers up an excellent romp through a cyberpunk world as it descends into oppressive madness. The story is somewhat lacking, but the numerous side quests, fantastic stealth, and gritty setting will keep you engaged for hours.

Skyrim is still a rock-solid RPG that's worth purchasing if you missed vanilla Skyrim. That said, if you already own and mod the original game, Skyrim Special Edition has nothing fresh to offer.
