Dungelot is an enjoyable roguelike that can provide a challenge to players of almost any skill level without becoming frustrating.  The twisted humor tinyBuild is known for combined with addictive easy to pick up, difficult to master gameplay makes this title a worthwhile addition to any roguelike fan's library, especially ones with a penchant for puzzle games such as Minesweeper.

3.5 / 5.0 - Catlateral Damage
Mar 22, 2016

Overall Catlateral Damage is a simple but fun game.  Random events and the procedurally generated levels do help keep the experience fresh, as do the collectible cat photos.  The easy to pick up gameplay makes this a title that can appeal to anyone.  Cat lovers in particular are likely to get more enjoyment from stepping into the paws in this cat simulator and hunting down the various cat pictures than those who do not enjoy feline companionship.

3.5 / 5.0 - Unepic
Apr 5, 2016

Unepic is an enjoyable retro style action RPG. It has not gotten the attention or acclaim of some more recent retro style 2D platformers such as Axiom Verge or Shovel Knight, but fans of that style of gameplay should give this one a look. It doesn't reinvent the Metroidvania style of game, but the developer is obviously a fan of the format and the effort in creating a quality game to pay homage to old school games is apparent.

3 / 5.0 - My Night Job

Super Duper Party Pooper! might not be pure excrement, but it is not necessarily much better. To contrast the game with an actual bowel movement, spending an extended period of time with either will cause one to feel hollow inside, as if a part of them is forever lost with that time that can never be recovered.

Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice is the definitive version of Dragon Fantasy Book II. It is a love letter to 16-bit RPGs with its tongue firmly planted in cheek. It may not surpass the fan favorites of that era, but it is a worthy homage and recommended to anyone who is a fan of old school RPGs.

One Piece: Burning Blood is one of those middle of the road games that makes game reviewers weep. The fun of praising or decimating a title stolen away without so much as a cheeky card. The game itself does work as an introduction to the series, giving the briefest of glimpses as to why it's so popular, and piling on the fan service with countless playable and support characters. Neither good nor bad, it exists. That will be enough for many fans.
