Resident Evil 7 is the best horror and I've played in a VERY long time. I'm excited to see where Capcom goes with the series and I hope they maintain this great sense of horror.

Red Dead Redemption 2 feels like Rockstar's new GTA 3 as in it takes massive leaps towards a new era of open-world gaming the likes of which have never been seen or at the very least executed to this level of quality courtesy of the borderline photorealistic graphics and remarkable game design.

With an emotionally rich story, gameplay that fulfills childlike dreams of being a superhero, and an engaging world with no shortage of puddles, Marvel's Spider-Man is not only the definitive Spider-Man game but one of the best games of the generation. Insomniac's not playing the "greatest hits" of Spider-Man, they're making a new era of the webhead that will go down as a groundbreaking age in superhero gaming.

Despite some small issues that can be patched up pretty easily, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a breathtaking game that combines Oscar worthy storytelling with game of the year quality gameplay.

Life is Strange: True Colors creates a world that players will want to be in, and a story that needs to be seen to the end. Despite the small scale of Haven and its unnerving issues, True Colors plausibly allows itself to have high stakes and is convincing in its premise. It's a game that is not only a shocking emotional rollercoaster, but also a compelling lesson about the importance of empathy, and an enjoyable time that could serve as a viable foundation for more storytelling in the future.

9 / 10.0 - FIFA 17
Oct 4, 2016

FIFA 17 is hands down the best FIFA game I have played in years. It nails the atmosphere and intensity of playing a match in a large arena with an energetic crowd, it introduces a great, new story mode with emotion and loads of character, and it has some of the best gameplay of the series. EA knocked it out of the park with this one (sorry, wrong sport) and has potentially changed all future EA Sports titles for the better.

9 / 10.0 - My Friend Pedro
Jun 25, 2019

My Friend Pedro is a game I can't recommend enough for fans of these fast, snappy, and frenetic action games that fill that empty spot of something like a new Max Payne game. It's incredibly fun, creative, and plays like a total dream that fits right at home on the Nintendo Switch.
