With so much potential in the premise, it’s a shame MilitAnt didn’t deliver where it counts in the gameplay department.
Mutant Mudds Super Challenge knocked me to my knees. Kicked me in the face. Then taunted me over and over to retry until eventually besting a level.
The artwork is interesting as well but like the repetitive dialogue options, the visuals become less and less appealing as you see the same few animations over and over and over again.
ReCore is plagued with horrible load times. The average length during my playthrough was close to two minutes and even surpassed that on a couple occasions.

But know this; Nioh is an incredible action RPG game that should not be missed.

If you have some nostalgia for classics like Forsaken or Descent you’re going find a lot to enjoy here in Sublevel Zero Redux.
The art direction in general, from the backgrounds to enemy and boss design is quite good.
Yooka-Laylee’s camera wants to constantly reset itself behind the characters when moving and this drove me nuts early on
Likable characters, exciting battle mechanics, and interesting colorful locales kept me engaged throughout my roughly 25 hours with the game. It doesn't set a new bar in any of its many disciplines but it's clear a lot of care and love has gone into Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom and the team at Enigami should be proud of what they've accomplished. They've built a solid little budget RPG.
Outlast 2 features audio that is constantly slithering up your spine and teasing you with a fright that may or may not pop out at any moment.
