Sep 20, 2018

Firewall: Zero Hour is the FPS game PSVR players have been waiting for. The only downside is that there is absolutely no campaign to enjoy - it's a multiplayer experience, exclusively. Play it with the aim controller and you'll find little else as entertaining in the PSVR shooter library.

7.5 / 10.0 - WarioWare Gold
Aug 13, 2018

WarioWare Gold takes the best games since launching on the GBA and brings it to the 3DS with over 300 playable microgames. It's fun, wacky and will keep your attention throughout story mode. It's unfortunately very short and comes with a multiplayer mode that requires your friend to own the game as well. Perfect for newcomers, but veterans might want to give it a skip.

7.3 / 10.0 - Ride 2
Oct 16, 2016

If you can look past the so-so graphics and presentation, and you happen to be a bike lover, then RIDE 2 is by far the most exciting on-road bike game money can buy. Just don’t expect it to perform a wheelie or endo in all categories.

Gran Turismo Sport will please fans of the series, but it's not going to win over those who have moved on. The team at Polyphony Digital have improved in some areas, but a bare-bones single-player mode that requires an online connection to progress sends it back for another unplanned pit stop.

7 / 10.0 - Tetris Effect
Nov 8, 2018

It's not easy to improve a game that's just about perfect and Tetris Effect is proof that the formula doesn't need much tweaking. It looks and sounds incredible, but don't expect this euphoria to last you a long time. Unless you love playing for a high score via leaderboards, the effect will wear off before you know it.

6.8 / 10.0 - Mafia 3
Oct 13, 2016

Mafia 3 has good intentions, and a patch should be able to fix the graphical issues, but the boring missions needs a whole new direction. It's a sin that a game with decent mechanics finds itself knee-deep in the mud of a mediocre structure. Perhaps you should just paint it black.
