Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection deserved a full remaster or remake compared to the garbage that Aspyr put out. It is heartbreaking to see how little effort they put into bringing an experience worthy of the series to the modern era. The game’s controls are extremely stiff and you will have to battle aim assist on top of it. If you are looking for a fun trip down memory lane, just buy the games on Steam or when they are on sale.

The game forces one to grind levels in a generic way while offering little satisfaction when hitting a milestone.

Combat within the game feels unsatisfying with a limit to the abilities. The jokes within are dated and feels like an AI wrote them after being fed information about South Park. Arguably, the only fight we enjoyed with the game was the final fight and that was because it broke the mold the game had established in the prior chapters.

4 / 10.0 - High on Knife
Jan 6, 2024

Outside of length, poorly executed jokes, and a morality virtue signaling campaign, the game’s DLC fails to reacquaint players with the game’s mechanics. In the first few minutes, you will have to figure out how to play again or die trying.

4 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 24
Sep 26, 2023

Each year, I want to give Madden a chance and the benefit of the doubt. Each year since 2014 it has continued to disappoint me and feels like it is only getting worse. The game has become stagnant and outside of updated rosters and minor improvements to the graphics, Madden has done the bare minimum to stay relevant. Madden 24 tries to revitalize the franchise with a new precision throwing system, new celebrations, cross-platform gameplay, and the return of the training camp minigames, but at the end of the day, it is EA Sports putting a fresh coat of paint on something and calling it new.

At the end of the day, the game’s poor gameplay and dragging dialog outweigh the game’s narrative. If you are looking for a vampire tale or want to revisit the game, it would be better to watch a YouTube playthrough than spend your time or money on this game. For the game itself, we give it a 4; if we were to doc points for censorship, we’d drop it to a 3 maybe a 2.

Overall, we wanted to like Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition but a lack of updated graphics, gameplay bugs, bad weather, and crashes detracted from the experience. Although you could restart a mission if you failed, you would have to choose between losing your progress or jumping back into the mission without a break. Sometimes, losing your weapons and armor feels better than having to redo the same missing again and again. There were numerous occasions where something would go slightly wrong and we’d have to start from scratch. If Rockstar decides to update the game and do it justice, then it will be worth picking up. Otherwise, we would highly recommend skipping the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. If you are interested in playing The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, we’d recommend waiting until it goes on sale. A 2GB update has been released to fix multiple bugs within the GTA Trilogy.

4.5 / 10.0 - Voodolls
Jun 17, 2023

Although Voodolls has a lot of potential, but the game in its current state feels more like early access than a fully released title. The game’s lack of a real tutorial causes the player to discover how to play the game rather than enjoy it. Traps do not feel like they assist the player and seem more gimmicky than a helpful tool. Visually, the levels are colorful and change from level to level, but the bugs within the game make it hard to enjoy. If you are considering picking this up to play with your friends, we suggest waiting. Voodolls needs a lot of polish.

5 / 10.0 - Let's Sing 2024
Nov 6, 2023

At the end of the day, Let’s Sing 2024 is a gimmicky game that can be fun for hardcore Karaoke fans who do not have room for a Karaoke machine or cannot afford one. Before we jumped into the game, we were excited about the aspect of singing our hearts out but by the end of each session, we felt tired and almost defeated. Defeated not because the game is difficult; instead, defeated because it lacks the overall excitement and passion that the real experience provides. Maybe our views on the game will change once the companion app works or the VIP pass is accessible, but for now, Let’s Sing 2024 is definitely one game you can skip this holiday season.

5.8 / 10.0 - Battlefield 2042
Dec 28, 2021

Battlefield 2042 definitely feels like a step in the wrong direction for EA and Dice. Although battle royale and combat sims can be fun to some players, they are not for everyone. The loss of a single-player campaign and other features make Battlefield 2042 a ghost of its former self. If you have the time and energy to learn the game’s mechanics, the game can be fun but rather time-consuming. Ultimately this Battlefield is one most players should skip. If EA and Dice continue to improve Battlefield 2042, then it will eventually be worth picking up similar to Star Wars Battlefront 2, but as of now, it is a good idea to wait.

At the end of the day, Modern Warfare 3 (2023) is just an over-glorified DLC for Modern Warfare 2. With a lackluster campaign, recycled multiplayer maps, and a buggy Zombies mode, MW3 2023 is definitely a skippable game. Hopefully, with Microsoft purchasing Activision, future Call of Duty games will have a proper development cycle and feel like a standalone game that you can’t miss rather than an overpriced DLC.

If you do not play management sims on PC the game’s controls can take a while to get used to; maneuvering throughout the casino can be a bit of a challenge at first. The game’s story can be a lot of fun to experience and each level builds on the last. The game features a variety of ways to play and a good amount of customization options. With the bugs and issues, playing the game feels more like a chore rather than a fun experience. The music within the game is catchy and keeps you motivated. Finally, the graphics within the game work as expected for the most part, but adjusting the camera to see everything can take some time to get used to.

Sadly, Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series Ep 2 “Under Pressure” was more disappointing than its predecessor. Although Telltale improved on some of the negative factors of the first game, they dropped the ball or did not improve in other areas.

6.5 / 10.0 - CRYMACHINA
Oct 22, 2023

At the end of the day, CRYMACHINA will become a game that some look at as having potential but failing to live up to it. The combat outside of boss/challenge fights feels uninspired and the levels lack substance. Don’t get us wrong, the game is beautifully designed visually but pretty graphics are just a small part of what can make a game great.

6.5 / 10.0 - AEW: Fight Forever
Jul 26, 2023

The game has potential, but there are quite a few things that need to be fixed before we can recommend it. If AEW plans to release a game each year or every few years, they might want to consider a new developer or a co-developer because the overall graphics are a bit lacking. At the price point, we can’t recommend you rush out to buy it; picking it up when it is on sale might be the best route to go.

6.5 / 10.0 - Wanted: Dead
Feb 15, 2023

If you are up for a challenge Wanted: Dead can be a fun experience, but for those who don’t like dying or having to learn perfect timing, it can be rather frustrating. The game’s shift in graphics between mini-games, gameplay, and cutscenes can be a bit much for those looking for a uniform experience. Soleil Ltd. tries to make Wanted: Dead the experience that Ninja Gaiden was, but misses the mark. Combat can be fun if you don’t get frustrated at a challenge, otherwise, if you are looking to just experience the story, Neko-chan mode is the way to go.

7 / 10.0 - Fort Solis
Aug 25, 2023

Although Fort Solis may be a pretty game to look at and listen to, its core gameplay mechanics and rendering issues hold it back. At its price point, it is more a flavor of the month with a big name rather than an interactive experience that many will enjoy.
