Another live service game launched by Ubisoft with decent success. Although not as polished as The Division 2 and Destiny, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a worthy competitor in a very crowded part of the videogames market.

6.5 / 10.0 - Race Arcade
Sep 10, 2018

Race Arcade had good intentions, but it failed to deliver something worth considering for everybody. The graphics package is pleasing, the content is aplenty, but some problems in the game mechanics prevented me from recommending this game to everyone.

Sabotage created a game filled with nostalgia in a very positive way. This is one of the best game of the year so far! Every gamer who's played retro classics like Ninja Gaiden or Strider, should give this one a try.

This is a very good lengthy adventure into a world populated with humans, aliens, and other beings. It can be enjoyed by everyone, but in a better way if you're familiar with the source material. Despite some technical shortcomings, it is a recommended purchase for those who want to experience an action-packed, good-looking 3D fighting game.

This is the best episode so far for this Telltale series. The story never stops advancing, action is present, investigations are not too long and it really puts the pieces in place for an explosive finale. Can't wait to see how everything will wrap up!

A great continuation of Batman/Bruce Wayne's story, with both sides perfectly fleshed out and as important. Stellar presentation and production value once again. Despite some technical issues, this is worth the price of admission and I'm very anxious to see how everything will turn out!

Another great series from a veteran player in the story-driven narratives, Telltale Games treated Batman with respect by presenting the duality Bruce Wayne/Batman in a way that I never experienced before. It is highly enjoyable, and I can't wait for the second episode

5 / 10.0 - Mighty No. 9

After a Kickstarter project that has received more than $3.5 million (US), and many delays in the development, the expectations were high regarding the game created by no other than Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man. Seen as a spiritual successor of a franchise that is loved by a dedicated fanbase, the game was seen as a way to scratch that itch: the need of a fast-paced action platformer like its blue bomber cousin. Unfortunately, the result is not as strong as it could have been: this is not a Mega Man game and is not as fun as its ancestor.

Before their mobile fame from the Infinity Blade franchise, Chair Entertainment produced in 2009 a game called Shadow Complex on Xbox 360 through the Xbox Live Arcade program. The game was very highly praised, and even received many nominations into the “Game of the Year” category. So the release of a remastered game 6-7 years after the original, on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is considered good news. I didn’t own an Xbox 360 console back then, but now have the chance to discover this gem from the past on my PS4.
