Ultimately, the Blood & Wine expansion rivals and bests some full AAA games I’ve played in recent memory.

Collectively, (if you pardon the pun) the BioShock Collection offers a TON of single-player content. Seriously, if you’re the gamer who prefers single-player to multiplayer then this collection has a massive amount of content on offer. Not only do you get the hugely praised single-player of all three base games, you will also get all the additional single-player content that all three games offer.

9.5 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee
Apr 4, 2017

I'm struggling to find many faults with Yooka-Laylee. Okay, it's held back by some minor technical issues but other than those minor issues, this game was an absolute blast to play. If you're looking for a chilled out, over-the-top, and at time hilarious video game that is also fun to play then Yooka-Laylee deserves your attention. This gets an absolute recommendation from me, and a must buy at launch.

9 / 10.0 - Rocket League
Feb 18, 2016

Simplicity is the secret ingredient in Rocket League's fun. If the game didn't nail the 'feel' of the game then perhaps the reception of the game would have been very different but everything just 'clicks' and works together to create one of the most genuinely enjoying games I have played in a very long time.

9 / 10.0 - Overwatch
May 24, 2016

Overwatch is unlike anything else on the Xbox One and PS4. Yes, Battleborn exists and I've enjoyed that game for what it is and even reviewed it positively (you can read that here) But it'd be incredulous to not admit that Overwatch just brings something 'special' to the genre that makes it stand out from other shooters of a similar nature. Personally, I'd even go as far as calling it the most enjoyable multiplayer shooter on console to date. That's not to say that other multiplayer shooters have been bad; they certainly haven't but the Pixar-grade visuals mixed with everything else that makes Overwatch so great just puts it above the fray compared to other shooters. If you're looking to get some genuine fun out of a multiplayer game then you can't go wrong with Overwatch.

9 / 10.0 - Dishonored 2
Nov 9, 2016

Dishonored 2 is a fantastic entry to the series, and made me an even bigger fan of the extremely talented Arkane Studios who developed both games in this amazing series. If you were a fan of Dishonored, then you are going to be a big fan of Dishonored 2 as well.

9 / 10.0 - The Turing Test
Sep 18, 2016

It’s a great game and even better, an excellent puzzle game. However, puzzles aren’t the be all and end all; the narrative is enthralling, mysterious and intriguing – any sci-fi lovers out there will find a good story here. There’s some seriously thought-provoking dialogue and moments in the game that I hope you take the time to experience The Turing Test for yourself – it shouldn’t be missed!

9 / 10.0 - Virginia
Sep 22, 2016

Even if you recently watched Stranger Things, you might notice a few similarities with Virginia in the subtle and sometimes explicit otherworldly allusions to the masked reality that we cannot actively perceive. This whole feeling that something could be hiding around the corner definitely adds to the suspense that runs throughout most of the game. One might get a fourth-wall-breaking sense that the developers are slowly peeling back the mystery and everything that unravels is for you to behold and try your damndest to make sense of it all.

Episode 2 of The Walking Dead: Michonne does an excellent job at improving upon the foundations set by the first. While the reoccurring graphical glitches that are common with Telltale games still make an appearance, the episode is so immersive and intense that they are only a minor nuisance in an otherwise great game. Episode 2 leaves me thoroughly excited for the final episode and that’s a testament to the work and improvements made by Telltale with this second episode.

Overall, Telltale’s Batman Episode 1 is one of the best and most complete experiences to be found in one episode of a Telltale game. The episode is directed expertly and pacing is very well executed; you’ll have time to experience all of the multi-faceted lives of Bruce Wayne but you’re also introduced to a wide array of classic characters without feeling overwhelmed. You get the eery sense that something is brewing in Gotham City and I can’t wait to find out what it is in the episodes to come.

As someone that reached the end game a day or two after the game came out, I've not had quite a lot of time playing the end game and have completed every challenging mission available.

Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is far from the perfect game, but it's still a very good game that is worth your money. If you're a fan of prior Zelda games however you might need to wary of Breath Of The Wild as it's changed and added a lot of features that some may feel move away from what made Zelda the franchise it is. Sometimes change is good, but I felt there was too many unnecessary changes in the game which made the game not feel like a Zelda game.

8 / 10.0 - Far Cry Primal
Mar 5, 2016

While my experience with Far Cry Primal was enjoyable, I don't want to beat around the bush so I want to clarify that Primal strongly felt like a Stone Age makeover of Far Cry 4 and that's really the worst thing about the game.

8 / 10.0 - Unravel
Feb 27, 2016

Ultimately, Unravel might not be everyone's cup of tea but its gorgeous environments, challenging puzzles and heartfelt story definitely make it worth for anyone that wants to sit back and 'experience' a video game of true craftsmanship. Unravel was a joy to experience and if you can put down a couple of hours for a game made by some passionate developers then your money will be well spent on Unravel.

8 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs 2
Nov 13, 2016

Watch Dogs 2 is better than the original Watch Dogs, I want to make that clear first as many people are probably wondering that. I enjoyed the story, the characters, and the location which is something I did not like in the first Watch Dogs game so everything better in Watch Dogs 2 after was all a bonus. Lets not sugarcoat it though, . It’s not what Assassin’s Creed II was to Assassin’s Creed, but it’s an improvement. Watch Dogs 2 still has it’s technical issues, A.I issues, and at times repetitive mission that brings the overall score down, but overall Watch Dogs 2 is definitely worth your time and trust that Watch Dogs might have killed.

8 / 10.0 - F1 2016
Aug 19, 2016

Overall, F1 2016 is a definite improvement over last year’s entry. It was Codemasters’ first F1 game on current-gen consoles and it was lacking some key features but F1 2016 makes a triumphant return to form with impressive visuals and boasting a fully-fledged campaign mode that is as multi-faceted as it is captivating. You get a lot of content with F1 2016 and any racing enthusiast should strongly consider picking this one up.

8 / 10.0 - Worms W.M.D
Sep 16, 2016

Overall, the game is one of the best entries into the Worms franchise for years now. I’d be shocked if you haven’t played a Worms game at some point but W.M.D provides a ton of fun and charm that’s well worth your time.

7.5 / 10.0 - Battleborn
May 12, 2016

When considering Battleborn as a full package, there's a lot there to sink your teeth into. It's unique blend of various game modes and various ways to play means you'll have a lot of fun experimenting in Battleborn, especially when it comes to the game's charming and humours characters. Battleborn will provide you with entertainment and a level of uniqueness that has become a rarity in AAA games. Unfortunately, it can't help but be felt that Battleborn falls just short of its potential and is held back by frustrating mission design, overly harsh difficulty and lack of multiplayer content.

Resident Evil 7 is a much better game, and much better Resident Evil game compared to Resident Evil 6 but it’s not this generations Resident Evil 4, actually it’s quite far from it. It’s also far from being a bad game, actually it’s a pretty good game that’s worth purchasing but the issues keeps it from reaching it’s full potential.

7 / 10.0 - Final Fantasy XV
Nov 28, 2016

Final Fantasy XV wasn't a bad game, but after all that hype, and being a first time player, I was disappointed with what was offered. There's many features about the game that I can praise like the combat and dialogue, but there's those negatives that makes it a disappointing first experience. I feel this is going to be a game with very mixed opinions, and I'm sure there's many playing it early who think it's a great game, but for me personally, this was a good yet disappointing game.
