9 / 10.0 - Final Fantasy XV
Jan 3, 2017

The flaws are kind minor and it was partly my fault why the game crashed because I didn't bother to save for a very, very long time. In a nutshell, Final Fantasy XV brought home the bacon for me. It really delivered (and exceeded) my expectations. This game's definitely a keeper.

9 / 10.0 - Nier: Automata
Feb 27, 2017

Whenever I try to jump to some higher place, since 9S is blocking the way I wouldn’t be able to nail it the first time around or when I tend to circle back from where I came from, 2B’s character doesn’t just slip through 9S’ which ends in me dragging 9S’ sorry butt backwards all the way back to where I started. Talk about awkward movement. But despite these areas where the game might need some improvement on, this game is quite a huge success. It caught my attention from start to finish and it made me yearn for more when it ended. As what a famous quote said, “All good things come to those who wait.”

The game creates a dynamicity of feelings within the player. From being calm and cool-headed to frantic and panicky. There's really no end to what you need to be in order to beat this game. Whether you're in the offense or in the defense side of it, the possibilities on how to approach There Came an Echo is endless.

In my book, this game scores a good ‘ol 7. Of course, the upgrades done on this game cannot be simply ignored and its just the remastered version of its ancestor so I won’t beat it down that much. ‘Nuff said.

7 / 10.0 - City of Brass

Since I have played other FPS games like Destiny and Far Cry. I can't help but long for the fast-paced action these two gave me. But since it is a mortal sin to do so and the game has a charm of its own that sets it apart from other first-person shooter games I've come across, I'll leave my piece with this game as independently as possible.

5 / 10.0 - Neon Chrome
Jun 24, 2016

All in all, it’s great and on-point without being too one-dimensional. That feeling this game gives to the players every time they discover something new, may it be cash from slain enemies or secret rooms to further progress through the game’s level, makes them want to stay immersed for hours on end. Though minor flaws are inevitable, at the end of it all Neon Chrome can and will still give you your money’s worth once you start playing. ‘Nuff said.
