8.5 / 10.0 - Titanfall 2
Jan 12, 2017

Titanfall 2 is an amazing multiplayer gamer, and could have also been an amazing single player game. The fast paced multiplayer with a clever use of AI combatants really makes every match enjoyable, and shows that there are still legs to the FPS genre. Its just a shame they did not push for more single player missions as the world of Titanfall is one well worth exploring. Out side of save data issues, the game’s core mechanics are damn near flawless. It’s a must buy if you like giant mechs, fps, or interesting combat.

SEGA went through some real work to smooth out the music and sound for this collection. Many might not know this but the pre SEGA CD systems left much to be desired when it came to sound effects and music. With the games being rebuilt from the ground up, its nice to see that they did not only focus on the visuals but the audio as well. This helps to round out the collection, putting it far and above any emulation.

9.5 / 10.0 - Arms
Jun 21, 2017

Arms is an amazing game and a break out from standard Nintendo titles. It accommodates a wide range of players and play styles, and has enough in it to make you keep coming back to it daily. Arms, while competitive, is accessible by everyone and anyone. People old enough to remember the Virtual On series will be right at home, and new players will soon follow. This is a must buy.

The mechanics are interesting and there is always a sense that you are achieving something through gameplay. It truly is the game we need but don't deserve.

9.5 / 10.0 - Blaster Master Zero
Mar 29, 2017

Blaster Master Zero is one hell of a retro remake that hits all the points of the original flawlessly but brings it to the modern era. It general, it's a near perfect experience and a "blast" to play. You will be hard pressed to get a better retro remake that not only respects the original game but improves on it instead of just repeating it. This is a must buy for anyone with a Nintendo Switch.

9.5 / 10.0 - Owlboy
Nov 16, 2016

Characters within the story are vastly different from each other and feel like they have there own motivations, personalities, and goals. Nothing is 2 dimensional in this 2D world. And it’s really refreshing to experience a game like this. I would go so far as to say it could be a teaching aid for people developing games and stories in the future.

9.5 / 10.0 - Redout
Dec 29, 2016

Redout is wonderful take on a game series that is beloved but almost forgotten in this age of hyper realism. Tight controls, smooth gameplay, fantastic music, and great overall design make this a must download for all racing game fans.

9.5 / 10.0 - SteamWorld Heist

You might have already guessed by reading the above, but everything works so well together it's shocking. This is one of the most polished products I have played in the last 5 years, standing out as a real labor of love.

10 / 10.0 - SteamWorld Dig 2
Sep 29, 2017

SteamWorld Dig 2 is an amazing game and a must own if you have a Nintendo Switch. It takes everything its predecessor did right, refines it, then presents it to the player in one of the cleanest packages I have seen in a long while. It buries its competition in the metroidvania genre and stands as an example of what others games in the genre should be, instead of what they are. Go pick this one up.

If you have been putting off picking this title up, now is the time. I could not think of a better way of spending 200 hours of my gaming time, and after you play Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition, nether will you.

10 / 10.0 - Yakuza Kiwami
Sep 2, 2017

Yakuza Kiwami in an amazing remake. Not only did they take the time to polish the game for current generation hardware, but they also took the time to see the flaws that the original game had and obliterate them to make a more perfect product.

Path of Exile is one of the best Free to Play games ever created if not the best. With its continual updates, engrossing community, great story, interesting characters, superior voice acting, ability to shape your play style in amazing and interesting ways, and that fact you will have the same play experience if you chose to drop money on it or not: it's simply a home run. Even stacked up against $60 AAA games of the last decade, Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath crushes 99% of them.

Over all, Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World is a game exploding with vibrant colors, great gameplay, and fun levels that’s polished to mirror-like shine. It is a perfect platformer that can be enjoyed by both new and old who want to take a break from the overly realistic worlds presented in games today. If you have a 3DS, I highly suggest you pick it up.

10 / 10.0 - Let it Die
Dec 31, 2016

Let it die is a game for gamers; self referential, challenging, while being extremely fair in all aspects of the gameplay. While being a free to play game, it 100% does not feel like a free to play game. With tones to explore, collect, craft, and kill, there is a whole lot of game here to be had, and the fact that it is free makes it a must download.

10 / 10.0 - Persona 5

Beautiful and masterfully executed, it's not a question weather you should buy the game, it's a question of why haven't you bought the game yet. You will not get a better RPG or gaming experience for quite some time, so do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
