It seems Wizards of the Coast have taken a step back with Magic 2015. Bad Deck Building, micro-transactions and lack of other modes makes for a boring and unimaginative installment of Duels of The Planeswalkers.

4 / 10.0 - OlliOlli
Feb 3, 2014

OlliOlli is a game that sounds good on paper, but in the end, doesn't work. By the end, you realise you're just going through the same routine, except this time you're flicking the analog stick a bit more than you were a few minutes ago. Only take this one if you're really desperate for something to play when you're on the bus.

4.5 / 10.0 - Daylight
May 18, 2014

Armed with randomly generated levels and the Unreal Engine 4, Daylight is a title that had the potential to even beat horror games like Outlast and Amnesia, but boring and repetitive gameplay, cliché design, miniscule length and general unoriginality let it down massively.

SOLASTA: Crown of the Magister has its faults, but still manages to be an enjoyable RPG experience. if you just want a D&D-eqsue dungeon crawler to play through, there are certainly worse options to choose from.

6.5 / 10.0 - Märchen Forest
Jun 19, 2021

Märchen Forest is an engaging JRPG if you go in expecting things to get weird. If you're just looking for a nice little JRPG experience with enjoyable dungeon-crawling and rewarding combat, you can't really go wrong with this one.

6.5 / 10.0 - Amnesia: Rebirth
Dec 19, 2020

Fitting my thoughts on Amnesia: Rebirth in a single paragraph feels like an impossible task. It's an effective character-driven narrative with forgettable characters; a tense horror game with a distinct lack of horror. Rebirth is exactly what the developers set out to create, which was not the Dark Descent clone that some people were hoping for.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite - Pathogen does make improvements upon previous levels and delivers a familiar yet enjoyable Aliens experience, albeit maybe a bit too familiar. Whilst not without untapped potential, this is certain to be a worthwhile investment if you found yourself wanting more from Aliens: Fireteam Elite.

7 / 10.0 - DreadOut
Jun 30, 2014

With just the first level having a fair bit of life in it, despite it's few faults, the game is looking quite good so far. Maybe DreadOut is the game we've been looking for to help the Horror genre along in its path to success.

Whilst not without its faults, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a satisfying co-op shooter that shows that there's still fun to be had with the Aliens franchise.

7.5 / 10.0 - Spellbreak
Feb 5, 2021

Spellbreak offers a breath of life into the lungs of the battle royale genre. New battle royales have to fight hard to keep their head above the water that is infested by the titans that are Fortnite, PUBG, Warzone, and Apex Legends, but Spellbreak's innovative gameplay might just be what the genre is looking for.

Whilst being nice and simple, it's effective. Much like Duck Game, Toto Temple Deluxe had me screaming and laughing for quite a while. Variety of maps and various modes make for endless hours of fun for you and your friends.

8 / 10.0 - Back to Bed
Dec 8, 2014

Other than small flaws, Back To Bed is an intriguing puzzle game that doesn't fail to keep you interested. However, its small length may make it a disappointment to some.

What True Colors lacks in the emotional gut-wrench that the previous games have, it makes it for with a refined format that presents a story that fits right into the series and tells it in the best way seen so far. You're very unlikely to be disappointed here.

With a surprisingly long length, All of Us Are Dead is sure to be worth your time and your money if zombie apocalypses, visual novels, and charming -if not slightly dark- coming-of-age stories are your kind of thing.

Resident Evil Village is an expertly-crafted narrative that seamlessly weaves subtle horror into action-driven sequences and backs it up with an excellent story supported by even better characters. An exemplary merit that Capcom still hasn't lost its creative spark

An enticing multiplayer experience that does a fantastic job of slowly easing players into its intricate design, Star Wars: Squadrons is making its mark on the gaming world. As long as Motive Studios can keep up with this momentum, I can't see it crashing anytime soon.

9.5 / 10.0 - Psychonauts 2
Aug 23, 2021

Psychonauts 2 is an absolutely fantastic game, and I can say that with certainty. Double Fine took an amazing concept that was ahead of its time and proved that they could do it again. The very few issues I had with the game were minor and had absolutely zero bearings on my overall enjoyment of the game

Wavelengths manages to capture so many emotional moments and story beats, packaging them all up in a short-and-sweet experience that connects the world of Life is Strange together in a way unseen before. Wavelengths is everything and more we could have hoped for with a DLC.
