8.8 / 10.0 - Forza Horizon 2
Sep 29, 2014

Forza Horizon 2 is an excellent racing game and although it innovates little in structure, the visual and sound production standard, the depth, variety and maneuverability of this experience make it worth every penny and that it is one of the must-have exclusives on Xbox One.

9.2 / 10.0 - Fallout 4
Nov 9, 2015

‎To say ‎‎that Fallout 4‎‎ is a big game would be to reduce it to its shallowest values. The valuable lies not in the mere volume of activities it offers or the size of its map, but the striking depth of its mechanics and the masterful form as Bethesda made the world so that the plot was developed organically through characters, details of the environment and actions of the user alike.‎

8.3 / 10.0 - Quantum Break
Apr 1, 2016

As it is, as I said at the beginning: time is the virtue and the problem of experience. The chronological concept feels fresh, but Quantum Break was in the oven for so long, I was expecting a bit more, especially from the decision-making and the show. The transmedia component passes as a distraction or marketing ploy rather than innovation, and what could have been something genuinely unique ended up being good ... nothing more. Remedy took an excessively safe route in several of his decisions and missed opportunities to transcend the game mechanics. Despite that, the action is rewarding and the story clever; more than enough elements to give the game a good grade.

‎As a concept, ‎‎Kerbal Space Program‎‎ is something unique. Its depth and realism provide a unique and very satisfying experience if you have the necessary patience and dedication, but the game also suffers from several design problems that bring it dangerously close to the terrain of frustration and, as an adaptation, it is a product that could have been much better. That said, if you're a fan of everything space-related or sci-fi, it's worth it and not as expensive as an average game.‎

8.7 / 10.0 - Titanfall 2
Oct 24, 2016

Titanfall 2 comes across as a beefier experience overall. The multiplayer mode hits the mark almost on every level while addressing most of the complaints gamers had with the original game. On top of that, now you have a proper campaign, which may not be very memorable but serves as a nice addition and a testament to Resapawn's commitment with its fans.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is not the abomination haters would want it to be but it is clear that the franchise is going through an identity crisis. Under its bizarre sci-fi concept, the campaign still has some of the core elements you would expect from the single player mode, but the overly convoluted structure of the multiplayer, chaotic rhythm, the flashy presentation of Zombies in Spaceland and a few technical hiccups will make you hesitate when calling this a Call of Duty game.

7 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs 2
Nov 23, 2016

Despite some undeniable improvements in terms of art direction and the underlying soul of the concept, Watch_Dogs 2 is still a sloppy product. With the persistence of AI oddities, dull graphics and physics, stereotypical plot and character design, conspicuous asset recycling, serious online problems and so on, Watch_Dogs 2 lack of polish stops it from achieving excellence once again.

8.6 / 10.0 - Horizon Zero Dawn
Feb 20, 2017

Horizon: Zero Dawn represents the birth a new and promising IP, thanks to a clever concept, solid combat mechanics and an outstanding presentation. Having said that, it can be repetitive at times and the lack of spontaneity stops Horizon: Zero Dawn from being a true classic.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands gives you all the tools needed to have a lot of fun with friends, despite some design flaws, minor bugs, an inconsistent narrative and a somewhat repetitive structure. As a solo experience, it is solid but too big to keep you interested, and with random people it can be too chaotic to enjoy. It all comes down to how are you going to play and who are you going to play it with.

Despite its promising subtitle, there's little new in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier to write home about. A revamped presentation, new characters, and excellent voice acting make it live up to the expectations, but the traditional flaws on the technical side of things and an undeniable stagnation on the narrative one stop it from reaching the greatness of the first season.

Dense, immersive and beautiful, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a genuine surprise. With a unique atmosphere, outstanding sound design and solid controls, it could have been masterful had it not been for the creeping shadow of repetitiveness, an exhausting dose of backtracking and some frustration to stop it, especially towards the end. Having said that, this is a truly remarkable and affordable experience.

8 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 18
Aug 22, 2017

To the hardcore fan, Madden NFL 18 will be an inconsistent experience. For every change or improvement made in the form of Frostbite or MUT Squads, there's a raw aspect or a neglected aspect, such as the Franchise's inconsequential tweaks, the presentation shortcomings in Longhot or the irritating loading screens. If you are new to the franchise, on the other hand, this is a solid sports game.

PES 2018 is a solid football experience but realism on the pitch can't make up for the lack of added value, general innovation, licenses and design flaws forever. The clock is ticking and PES is evolving too slowly by today standards.

8.5 / 10.0 - FIFA 18
Sep 29, 2017

Despite an uneven evolution on and off the pitch, FIFA 18 manages to muster enough innovation and improvements to make it a worthy iteration of the franchise with a fleshed out Journey mode, the interactive transfers, and the real motion technology as its most juicy contributions. While the unbalanced action on the pitch and some abandoned modes constitute the most glaring weaknesses.
