There isn't much new on show here, but fans won't really mind - it's an entertaining romp through the Queen Zenobia emulating the heydays of the series. When you're low on ammo and out of herbs, dreading ambushes at every corner, you're reminded what made Resident Evil so good in the first place.

Although Hellblade has to be commended for its superb presentation and its tackling of the subject matter, it's ultimately let down by its gameplay and structure. It's definitely a game I feel everyone should experience, the voices and visuals alone make it worth playing. But in the end, it falls short of greatness, an excellent shell around a fairly hollow interior.

The Long Dark is a triumph. At times it may feel a little grindy, but there's always a level of tension thanks to its finely tuned systems never letting you get complacent.

There is definitely some wasted potential, but The Sexy Brutale is a solid, original and fun game that's definitely worth your time.

A mindless, turgid and tedious slog with horrible gameplay and zero depth. A travesty to the Ghostbusters name. Avoid at all costs!

A beautiful and relaxing experience that's marred by fairly simplistic, shallow gameplay and pacing issues.

A decent start to Telltale's imagining of the Batman story, but lacking in some key areas. Good characters are let down by a lacklustre plot, with choice, consequence and interesting interactivity being somewhat lacking.

A charming and competent RPG which is let down by a lack of variety, depth and originality.  Retro JRPG fans will like it though.

Fine - but disappointing for fans of the game series; thanks to a lack of new ideas and low character investment.

An immersive survival game with a unique premise and great presentation, but suffers from longevity and gameplay niggles.

If you can overlook the often mediocre gameplay, there's plenty to enjoy in this funny and faithful interpretation of the movie.

A decent 2D turn-based tactical shooter which takes a while to get going but gets a lot better once the tactical options increase. Probably best to get on handheld where its probably more enjoyable to play in short bursts.

Among the Sleep is a nice concept and interesting story that looks great, but is let down through some dull gameplay and horror elements that aren't that effective.

A double-whammy of madcap murder mysteries with compelling twisting stories and complex whodunnits with an over-the-top presentation. Danganronpa 1-2 Reload's memorable cast and great writing bring genuine laughs in a thoroughly entertaining game.

A faithful return to The Walking Dead story, with a good cast of new characters and plenty of hard-hitting and emotional moments. The plot and gameplay though are starting to feel stale, with no innovation to speak of.

Virginia won't be for everyone due to its lack of interactivity, but its compelling storytelling, artistic direction and sound make for an original and immersive cinematic experience.

Enthralling, atmospheric and creepy with some nice new ideas. Unfortunately the quality doesn't sustain. Not as groundbreaking as some Resident Evil titles, but a promising new direction for the series.

A fun and solid FPS single player campaign with good ideas and satisfying combat. Multiplayer is tough for newcomers but becomes great.
