The Thin Silence is a charming narrative adventure filled with puzzles on the lines of Limbo and Inside. Tw PM was courage was courageous in dealing with issues such as depression and the socio-political issue, but the experience is sometimes a little repetitive and frustrating.

The Shadow of War offers a solid gameplay, a compelling concept and a much more varied setting than the previous episode, with excellent production values and an awesome soundtrack. The sequel is bigger, better and stronger, but somehow caged in a repetitive framework. The game is full of good ideas and potential, that cannot be truly fulfilled due to a storytelling without personality and a huge but boring endgame.

Freud's Bones offers a brilliant take on psychoanalysis in the form of a point and click story driven adventure. The sessions with the patients are great, interesting and depict the complexity of human nature, while the other gameplay mechanics are sometimes a bit clumsy. Overall the storytelling is compelling, authentic, and it's worth the 5 hours trip, even if the game feels sometimes unbalanced and chaotic.

A Musical Story is a warm, interesting and charming small adventure about songwriting and inspiration with, at its core, an essential, but not shallow, rhythm game. It looks and plays as a 70s rock concept album and lingers through solos, emotional spikes and perfect esecution. Sometimes is a bit unfair, but well, the road to perfection can be harsh.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is still a good game, thanks to its unique style and a compelling, slow, fascinating wierd-western narration. The charming adventure of the Stranger it's a manifesto of the most ambitious visions of early 2000s and, despite some technical flaws and some naive choices, it's still surprisingly fresh and elegant. The Switch porting could have been slicker and better, because framerate issues and clumsy controls in a remastered in 2020 are not acceptable anymore.

Frantics is a fun and polished collection of minigames, made unique by its wonderful aesthetics. The gameplay is very effective in bringing out the worst and most competitive side of the players involved, so it's perfect for a night with friends. Ruthless competition, misconduct and wicked behaviour are combined well with a game system that, while maintaining the inclusive philosophy of PlayLink, do not skimp so much action and rhythm. On the long run it may become a little bit repetitive, but until then it's amazing.

A Case of Distrust is a charming and gripping noir interactive text adventure. Halfway between 80 Days and Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, Ben Wander's game tells us about the roaring 20s in a very stylish way. If you can turn a blind eye to some cumbersome mechanics and a couple of trivial choices you'll spend three lovely thrilling hours hanging around San Francisco.

Gran Turismo Sport is a pretty complicated affair: a mediocre single player experience, an exhilarating multiplayer title, the last work from Polyphony Digital is the greatest testament to a democratic vision of motorsport, where driving is really for everyone. A temple where players can share and contemplate truly stunning and beutiful images of cars, and drivers can look for the aesthetic perfection of driving. In the middle, a driving model with the same old limits of the previous chapters, and an overall anachronistic feeling.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is a brilliant adaptation of the themes, the atmosphere and the mood of the homonymous pen and paper RPG. The alchemical mix between cinematic adventure and light RPG works great and Big Bad Wolf Studio gives a fresh take on the concept of "playing a role" in a video game. It's a pity that technically wise the game sometimes doesn't stand up to its own ambitions.

The first episode of The Council is a pleasant surprise. Big Bad Wolf has succeeded in inserting a snappy roleplaying system into a historical investigative-style narrative adventure, and the implications are surprisingly original, brilliant and ambitious. There are minor flows in the script and technical wise is quite clumsy, but it's a good opening episode indeed.

Ea Sports UFC 3 is a pretty good mixed martial arts sim, deep and spectacular enough. The gameplay feels a little bit unbalanced, the Career has some unconvincing moments, and the multiplayer forces the Ultimate Team mode on the player. The game is intense and satisfying, but there's still room for improvement.

As Dusk Falls works as an intense first season of TV show who just you can't stop binge watch. Interior/Night cinematic adventure works great when tries to depict how three destinies are entwined after a dramatic moment lived together, while sometimes fails to build drama in believable way. GRID Legends goes on the most arcade soul of Codemasters by focusing on quantity and fun. Driven to Glory, the story mode, is quite a disaster and the Career progression is a bit chaotic, but the game has so much content to offer to enjoy. Codemasters achieves to bring thrilling races on the screen and the idea to have the chance to play every single mode in multiplayer is a nice touch to strengthen the experience of a fun and compelling aracade racing game.
