Origins can pretty much be considered one of the best entries in the series (if not the best) for introducing a myriad of changes, all for the best, and making the series advance in the same way Assassin's Creed II did back in the day. Put it into a sarcophagus next to the pharaohs, because this game is worth of the Valley of the Kings.

Bigger, better and refined, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the definitive versions of Sun and Moon. Theres some déjà vu feeling with the story, but that doesn't neglect that these games offer tons of content, and that they serve as a great farewell for the series before jumping to the Switch.

Even though the changes in this remastered version are subtle, L.A. Noir holds up as the ultimate detective simulator. If you didn't play it back in 2011 and love the noir aesthetic and detective films, then you don't need any clues to know that this is a must have

The Champions' Ballad is far from what we were expecting, especially story-wise, but any excuse is good to return to Breath of the Wild's Hyrule. The new shrines are great, and everything that happens at the end make up for any of the not-so-good parts.

80 / 100 - Furi
Jan 10, 2018

Furi for the Nintendo Switch delivers the same experience as the rest of the platforms, offering fast and demanding action, a killer soundtrack and an oniric atmosphere with geeat character designs.

Fans of Digimon and the first Cyber Sleuth will surely love Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory, where the digital monsters are the undisputed stars of the film. On the bad side, it's almost exactly like the original game (some locations are the same, and even the soundtrack is reused), and for an JRPG it's pretty average.

80 / 100 - Lost Sphear
Jan 23, 2018

Lost Sphear is a little step forward for Tokyo RPG Factory, solving all the bad things from I Am Setsuna and keeping the good ones exactly as they were. If you love JRPGs and miss those times where everything was simpler, don't miss it.

Dissidia mixes the charm of a series as beloved as Final Fantasy with a battle system that's equal parts fun and different from anything we're used to see in fighting games, but lacks in variety and modes. If you love Final Fantasy, then you'll probably love Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

93 / 100 - Celeste
Feb 5, 2018

A story about overcoming grief and accepting ourselves under the guise of an impeccable platformer. Celeste is the kind of game that no one, not even those who despise jumping games, should miss.

The ultimate version of one of the most unique JRPGs in recent memory, finally edited in Europe. If language is not a barrier, and you like (or feel attracted to) the genre, then Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is a must have. A true gem.

80 / 100 - Fe
Feb 15, 2018

Fe is an original platformer that fans of animals will surely love, thanks to the way it connects with nature through the language of the forest. Although it doesn't manage to send a message as powerful as it's visuals in regards to gameplay, it's worth your time just for purely artistic values.

Behind a cloud of dust formed with controversy and bad decisiones hides a zombie survival game thats highly enjoyable. It's far from the level of quality of past Metal Gear games (particularly the script), but we would be lying if we said we didn'dt had a lot of fun with it.

76 / 100 - Mulaka

Fun and entertaining action adventure, where it's biggest strength is the representation of the Tahuramara culture. The combat system may be too simple for the most demanding players, but the art design makes for it.

Although the remaster work is closer to none (and theres even some little details from the originals that have been lost), these are two of the best stylish action games of all time (and Devil May Cry 2). If you've never played these games, this is the perfect time to do it: you'll hit the jackpot.

93 / 100 - Far Cry 5
Mar 26, 2018

Simply put, Far Cry 5 is the best Far Cry game to date. It has the best story, the best progression and introduces a lot of changes (for the good) while maintaining that explosive old formula that works so freaking well. God Bless Hope County

60 / 100 - Extinction
Apr 10, 2018

A good idea (albeit not very original) that doesn't feel as good because of imprecise controls, a camera that constantly gets in the way and a gameplay system that becomes repetitive too son. If this doesn't bother you too much and if you've been looking for an action game that puts you against giant orcs, then Extinction will not disappoint you.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition combines the best of both worlds to form a product than can please even the biggest musou opposer. It also has tons of content, but the lack of true new adds makes it difficult to recommend to those who played the Wii U or 3DS versions.

Even though the work on this remaster can only be described as "simply correct", we're talking about the definitive version of the best and most influential game of the past ten years. If you've never player Dark Souls before, this is by far the best time to discover what all the fuss is about.

88 / 100 - Vampyr
Jun 5, 2018

Even with it's noticeable flaws, Vampyr has the potential to be the new cult gem among vampire lovers. If you can see beyond technical limitations, the story and characters will trap you within their arms and suck until the very last drop of... your time.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a small taste of the main dish. It's short and experimental, yes, but it's also free, and the decisions and actions made here will carry over into Life is Strange 2, so any Dontnod fan shoudn't miss this litlle story.
