Francesco Corica's Reviews

A passionate player who always likes to be surprised by new games. I grew up with a SEGA Mega Drive, and I like almost every videogame genre, even though he mostly enjoys RPGs and Beat 'em ups. Also shares a lot of memes.

If you're a fan of visual novels and enjoy reading a story you can safely get Mask of Truth; the gamers who are actually looking for a challenge and don't care for the plot should probably look somewhere else instead.

6 / 10.0 - Fallen Legion+
Feb 11, 2018

Fallen Legion+ is a game that has some nice ideas that could have been developed in a better way. Nonetheless, we think they still have a good potential for future chapters in the series.

We had some great expectations for this title, but sadly Legrand Legacy wasn't quite able to live up to them. We strongly suggest to download the free demo on Steam before buying this title, to see for yourself what you're going into.

7 / 10.0 - Insidia
Mar 5, 2018

Insidia is a pleasant surprise and ideal for every player that wants a challenge, that can manage to stand on its own with costant updates and with the support of the community.

Like the previous chapter, we don't think that The Witch and The Hundred Knight 2 is a bad title, but it isn't an excellent one either, remaining sufficient. If you liked the previous game, you can easily enjoy the sequel, otherwise this won't make you change your mind.

5.5 / 10.0 - MX vs ATV All Out
Apr 18, 2018

While MX vs ATV All Out had great potential, it doesn't always manage to hold up, probably because of a troubled developing. There are still some positive features to hold on to, while we're waiting for an eventual future chapter

If on one hand we appreciate the care from Studio Trigger in narrating the story and the animated cutscenes, on the other we can't ignore the rough gameplay and its limits. The game has still a lot to gift to the fans of the show, but it's hard to suggest the game to anyone else.

The Switch version of Pirate Warriors 3 may not be the most detailed graphic version out there, but the developers put a considerable amount of work to guarantee the same experience for Nintendo users.

The switch version of South Park: The Fractured But-Whole it's a great conversion and it shows once and for all that even Nintendo consoles can have games with adult content.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a courageous experiment that aims exclusively to online fightings, not offering much to the single player lovers. Fighting online with your ninja is definitely fun, but there's still some problems with the server and the camera.

5.1 / 10.0 - Carnival Games
Nov 28, 2018

If you're gamers with experience, Carnival Games isn't the title that you're looking for. If you're willing to not take the minigames seriously and you're in a festive environment, then you'll be able to forget easily the many problems that afflict it.

8.8 / 10.0 - Mortal Kombat 11
Apr 22, 2019

A Mortal Kombat with great customization possibilities and lot of single player content, even sometimes grinding could be avoided. We loved the more tactical gameplay that leaves to the player much more control over the simple combo connection.

Sayonara Wild Hearts is really difficult to describe: it's an unique audiovisive experience and we believe that any fan of pop culture should try it out.

5.4 / 10.0 - Utawarerumono: Zan
Oct 22, 2019

For a fan of the series this is still a pleasant diversion, even though we don't think it's worth the full price. For a new player, this doesn't seem like the ideal title to get introduced to the series.

Ash of Gods Redemption is a decent game for fans of strategy turn based games, but it also feels like a wasted opportunity.

These portings are definitely the best chance for the toughest players to enjoy these games, if they couldn't play them in the past. Not recommended to players with little patience.

The fanservice is very welcome and all three of the characters are interesting, but it's difficult to suggest buying this expansion at full price, unless you're a hardcore fan.

5.4 / 10.0 - Skater XL
Aug 7, 2020

In its current state, Skater XL is nothing more than an elaborate tech demo to show its gameplay potential. What's actually missing is the game itself.
