Just a guy that loves Philadelphia sports and writing about video games. #TrustTheProcess

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild makes me feel the same kind of magic I did as a kid playing games. Simply put, Breath Of The Wild is a masterclass in game design & is my favorite video-game of all time.

10 / 10.0 - Ratchet & Clank
Apr 16, 2016

Ratchet & Clank is simply the best exclusive PlayStation has to offer. It’s graphics and charm are unmatched by any game I’ve played in the last couple of years. Insomniac has outdone themselves and brought back one of the most beloved PlayStation icons. This game is a masterpiece and a must play for all PS4 owners.

9.5 / 10.0 - Horizon Zero Dawn
Apr 8, 2017

Guerilla Games has outdone themselves with Horizon: Zero Dawn. Whether you’re enjoying the lush, vibrant open world setting, or soaking in every moment of the story, you’ll never stop being entertained. The combat is deep and intuitive, even with the minor glitches I encountered. Aloy adds a strong new character to Sonys already deep roster.

9 / 10.0 - Sunset Overdrive
Nov 10, 2014

Insomniac Games has made some amazing games ranging from Ratchet and Clank to Resistance but Sunset Overdrive is their best game to date. It’s such a special game and is currently the best game you can get for next-gen hardware. It’s a profanity laced, joyride from start to finish. From guns, to visual effects everything about Sunset City is fun, but just remember, its your Awesomepocalypse.

Halo 5: Guardians isn’t without its flaws, but its still an amazing game. The faults of the campaign are made up for ten fold with the great multiplayer and new gameplay improvements.

Nidhogg 2 is just a pure blast to play. If you have friends that live close by, the $15 buy in point is perfect for a game that offers this many laughs.

6.5 / 10.0 - Star Fox Zero

While Star Fox Zero is brimming with nostalgia and has a lot of redeeming qualities, tons of forced in content and motion controls spoil the game.

6.5 / 10.0 - Ghost Blade HD
Mar 17, 2017

Ghost Blade HD mostly accomplishes what it sets out to do. It provides a bullet-hell arcade shooter, with leaderboards to chase. The awesome 90’s effects and focus fire gameplay are undermined by a slight lack of difficulty and effective power-up system.

5 / 10.0 - Mighty No. 9
Jul 2, 2016

Mighty No. 9 may be one of the most disappointing games I’ve ever played. At the start, we were promised a spiritual successor to Mega Man and we didn’t get that. Gameplay wise, Mighty No. 9 isn’t a bad game, it’s just muddled down with bad design, poor characters, and other technical issues.
