Momodora is quite a nice Metroidvania, offering a good challenge and nice retro graphics. It's just a bit short and lacks some originality to stand out.

Yooka-Laylee is a good Banjo-Kazooie-like, packed with a colorfull world, good gameplay and a lot of humor. It doesn't reach the level of its model, but is for sure a nice modern alternative.

The Nintendo Switch version of Mario Kart is quite possibly the best in the series. Mario Kart 8 was already fantastic on the Wii U and the way the game uses the Switch's features genuinely transcends it.

The Franz Kafka Videogame is a surprising point and click which celebrates surrealism more than the author himself. Its delicious visuals and tricky puzzles will delight those who do not look for a real Kafka tribute. Unfortunately, its length and simplicity will forbid it to stay in memories for long.

Pinstripe offers an oniric trip as the pastor Ted finds his way through death looking for his little girl Bo. Unfortunately, behind its beautiful backgrounds and melancolic soundtrack, Pinstripe frogot to be a solid platformer. Clumsy controls, basic puzzles and soporific fights forbid the player to experience its tearful message all the way through.

LocoRoco Remastered reminds us how unique and fun the game was back in 2006. Its trigger-based gameplay gives a new taste to the plateformer genre, and the level design never ceases to renew itself. Unfortunately, this reissue do not offers any new content when there was so many things to think of.

GNOG is a wonderful puzzle game. Its colorful graphics, oniric mood and thoughtful puzzles makes it worth a look for every fan of the genre. Unfortunately, its very short length makes it miss the must-have category.

Despite its handy portable device, Disgaea 5 Complete reminds us how the series will not evolve through time. If you ever want to farm some endless levlling through what seems to be a pile of clich's of japanese animation, this might do the trick.

ARMS takes a fresh look at the old fighting game. By giving it the twist of friendly Ninteo games, it allows everyone to enjoy its new way of fighting each other. However, its roster of look-alikes make us think that the game certainly won't last long for the most demanding players.

Final Fantasy XII : The Zodiac Age is a beautiful remaster which makes us love the game even more. Thanks to the second job addition, the fast forward rhythm or the magnificent re-orchestration of the original soundtrack, this version deserves a run, wether you already finished the original game or not.

Splatoon 2 keeps everything that worked in the first episode to deliver a strong but somehow light sequel. Fortunately, the Salmon Run mode seems new enough to bring back the fun, as this cooperative option took us by surprise. Fans will love, haters gonna hate, but Splatoon should benefit from the Switch phenomenal success to increase its fanbase.

The End is Nigh is as brilliant in exploration as Super Meat Boy was as a plateformer. More and more challenging through the entire game, it offers a great feeling of accomplishment once finished properly.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 reminds us why the Blue Bomber fell in the nineties. With only four titles included, the compilation runs short, especially when compared to the first one. Only hardcore fans will enjoy its many bonuses and challenges.

Everybody's Golf takes a fresh start by going online and enhancing its progess system. The Turf War mode is a fun way to change your approach by going so much faster than usual, and this time you have to actually use your stuff to make it better. Wherever it is your first time going for a put or not, it is the most fun you can get with a golfing game. However, its limited number of courses and its clumsy design might miss the boat...

Metroid : Samus Returns is a powerful remake of the old Game Boy classic. By taking so much freedom from the original, Mercury Steam delivers a solid version, which still suffers from the structure of it. Much more narrowed than other games in the series, Metroid : Samus Returns only becomes a real blast through its last sections, but still offers a good run for every fan of the genre.

Death of the Outsider is a superb way of closing the parenthesis of the Dishonored saga. By giving the player new powers to play with, Arkane forces us to redefine the way we play the series. As usual, each level offers multiple possibilities, but this time the lethal of pacifist approach does not change the world we live in.

There are not many superlatives that does not stick to Danganronpa V3 : Killing Harmony. This third instalment in the series is more extreme, more meta, more amazing in its storyline, even if the core gameplay suffers from reals changes to surprise the old students. Unless the visual novel genre or its japanese style makes you want to run away, Danganronpa V3 : Killing Harmony is worth the school trip.

Cuphead is a brilliant hommage to the run and gun genre as much as the 30's cartoons. This retro experience is a though challenge that will reveeal its true potential only to those brave enough to endure thousands of death by the minute. Cuphead is not accessible to everyone, and it is fine like this. Beautiful and diversified like any other, Cuphead is such a rewarding game that reminds us the true taste of victory.

Fun, diversified, generous and also technical, Golf Story synthesizes two great gameplays to deliver a love story between golf and classic RPGs. With great dialogues and a hardy direction, the game offers a decent amount of courses, even though it may lack some real challenge in the end.
