Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 finally brings back the noise of a beloved franchise, after so many failed attempts. This remaster compile the arcade gameplay and the sillyness of two famous games to deliver a classic but loving experience for every fan of the genre. If only this duo turned into a trio, the party would have been perfect.

13 Sentinels : Aegis Rim dives us into a complex story, mixing heroes, periods of time and themes to deliver a love letter to japanese science fiction. Curiously, the game is strictly divided between phases, switching from narrative story-driven thumbnails to minimalist strategy fights, delivering a strange but satisfying experience for every Japan lover and 2D aesthete.

We thought that Crash Bnadicoot would never be the same iconic character he once was : we were wrong. this fourth episode brings back every fundation of the series, twisting it with the brand news quantum masks mecanics, to delivred a strong, rich, colorful and demanding entry to the series. Rooted in the late 90's, Crash just need to discard its old precision issues to compete with the big ones of the beloved platform genre.

As fun and refreshing as it was on the original Wii U, Pikmin 3 Deluxe offers a second chance to a very good strategy game. Despite the loss of a second screen, this Switch port add many extras, like an entire bonus arc with well tied challenges, but also very interesting difficulty modes.

8 / 10 - Carto
Nov 11, 2020

Carto is a nice, very clever puzzle-game which offers brand new mecanics to change the world by twisting map pieces. Thanks to beautiful landscapes and very well thought enigmas,Sunhead's game only suffers from a lack of clues, which might drive the most impatient players crazy.

With Assasin's Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft tries to synthesize a decade-long series, thanks to clever adjustments on its RPG rhythm. With a brilliant lightning, the game visually stands out on Xbox Series X, and offers a more flexible adventure as well as a real stable narrative. Rich, dense, but also time-consuming, Assassin's Creed Valhalla still is a good run, thanks to its historical setting and beautiful landscapes.

There is No Game Wrong Dimension is a delightful and very funny point'n click, which offers various parodies of different genres, takes to a well played narrator, and very clever and meta puzzles. If you like to laugh, play this (non-) game.

Thanks to its gorgeous visuals and deeper narrative, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart arises the series to a new level. With many locations to enjoy, a lot of weapons to try out and many, many collectibles to find, everyone should find a good reason to embark on this bidimensional journey, even though the obvious collision bugs are still way too present.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is as expected a strong next-gen upgarde on an already great game. Its 60fps animation and extra chapter makes it all the more delighful. Too bad you had to wait for it to see the true ending. Not fair, Square Enix

8 / 10 - Death's Door
Jul 23, 2021

Death's Door is a nervous action game that transcends Acid Nerve's old formula. Thanks to a clever difficulty, fights with brandnew situations, a rewarding exploration and a beautiful soundtrack, Death's Door is the perfect well-balanced experience of this summer, despite a very light pathfinding.

8 / 10 - Deathloop
Sep 13, 2021

Deathloop is a unique mix between FPS, sci-fi and mystery in a 70's case. Trapped in a time loop, Colt Vahn must understand and memorize every nook and cranny of a strange island and it's strange cast of vilains. Despite some kind of redundancy in its last hours, Deathloop is an intelligent, beautiful, singular and well-written adventure not to miss.

Final Fantasy VII on Switch could easily have been one of the console's must have : its undeniable charm still works more than 20 years after its original release, but this stingy port still contains the horrible French localization from 1997, as well as the old PS4 bug which constantly reset the beautiful sounds of Nobuo Uematsu.

7 / 10 - Donut County
Aug 31, 2018

If you take Donut County for what it is - a short and weird experience - Ben Esposito's game will deliver a sweet moment of a strange experiment. Built as an anti-Katamari Damacy, the hole mecanics are really addictive and fun to play with, even though the game suffers from a very short length. But if you are curious enough to try something as weird as the most bizarre japanese games, you might be in for a treat.

Jun 7, 2017

ARMS takes a fresh look at the old fighting game. By giving it the twist of friendly Ninteo games, it allows everyone to enjoy its new way of fighting each other. However, its roster of look-alikes make us think that the game certainly won't last long for the most demanding players.

LocoRoco Remastered reminds us how unique and fun the game was back in 2006. Its trigger-based gameplay gives a new taste to the plateformer genre, and the level design never ceases to renew itself.
