6.5 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs: Legion
Oct 28, 2020

After so much anticipation, Watch Dogs: Legion is finally here, failing to impress. Almost every single problem that prevented the 2 previous version to reach their full potential is still there, and the ability to play as all NPCs added even more issues to the game. Yes, the world is beautiful and you have all the freedom that you want, but as a game, Watch Dogs Legion is shallow and suffers from poor level and character design. A strong contender for the most disappointing game of the year.

6.5 / 10.0 - Battletoads
Aug 28, 2020

The new version of Battletoads lacks character and seems that it's trying to escape its past. The game starts strong, but as you progress it loses its steam and becomes an average experience that can only excite the fans of the series at best.

The Nintendo Switch version of Crysis Remastered tries to be as good as the original Crysis rather than trying to be an improvement, which is what a remastered version should really do. It still looks visually stunning on Switch hardware, but it's also full of technical issues and bugs. In the end, it remains to be seen how Crysis Remastered will perform on PC later this year, and it needs a lot of improvements on the Switch version if it wants to be a hit again.

6.5 / 10.0 - Those Who Remain
May 27, 2020

Those Who Remain is a good horror experience in a genre filled by many similar games. It offers good story and interesting puzzles, and throws some decision making your way, but also suffers from many technical and design issues that prevent it from being good enough for all tastes.

6.5 / 10.0 - Bleeding Edge
Apr 1, 2020

The latest title by Ninja Theory could be very well considered as one of their weakest works, a title that tries to take its shot in an overcrowded hero shooter genre and fails. Bleeding Edge doesn't add anything new to the genre, and it seems that it only tried to be another copy of the games like Overwatch.

6.5 / 10.0 - Blair Witch
Sep 1, 2019

Bloober Team tries to mix successful elements from titles like Alan Wake and Outlast, and use the atmosphere and theme from The Blair Witch Project to create a different horror game. But the result is not as good as expected, as the game starts to get boring soon and has no true identity, with the opportunity to roam the Burkittsvills forest being the only salvage point.

6.5 / 10.0 - Transference
Sep 23, 2018

If you have an extra 25$, you can choose to spend it on a short trip to the world of Transference, though a few exciting and maybe scary moments aside, your trip might not be as good as you have imagined.

6.5 / 10.0 - The Crew 2
Jul 1, 2018

The Crew 2 has a lot of potential, but its great graphics and sound design doesn’t make up for its lack of content, lack of online multiplayer and weak AI. Maybe it’ll get better via monthly updates as the previous version did, but at the moment, The Crew 2 is not much superior to its predecessor.

7 / 10.0 - NBA 2K24
Sep 26, 2023

In the quest for gameplay excellence and the celebration of basketball history, NBA 2K24 teeters on the edge of brilliance. Yet, it's disheartening to see this potential masterpiece obscured by the dark cloud of microtransactions. As players, we must hope that future iterations of the game find a balance that preserves the joy of basketball gaming without placing an unfair financial burden on its fans.

The latest game from the creator of Dead Space called The Calisto Protocol is an experience full of ups and downs. When the game tries to take the Dead Space route, it offers a heartwarming and entertaining experience. But when it tries to act differently, many problems appear. The repetitive combat system and the fight with the bosses are among the main problems of the game, which have severely damaged the game experience in the final sequences. The Callisto Protocol definitely has a lot of potential that the creators could not use well and with their wrong choices during the development, they have caused a lot of damage to this title. With all these interpretations, this title can still be offered to those interested in the Dead Space series and the horror and survival genre and hoped that if a sequel is made, its problems will be resolved. Things like voice acting and game graphics are among the commendable parts of this work.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is an unoriginal game and, in many ways, a repetition of previous Supermassive Games titles that still suffer from acting problems. However, the mood and atmosphere of its story is similar to the Silent Hill series which turns this title into a heartwarming experience for horror fans.

eFootball PES 2021, as an annual update and priced at $ 30, still can not be a good option to buy. The game has been released in most parts without any changes compared to before, and in the parts that we are witnessing changes, these changes have been to the detriment of the game experience. The lack of licenses of Milan and Inter is also considered as one of the new shortcomings of the game. Finally, buying the new game is not recommended for 2020 owners at all, but if you have not experienced last year's version, the $ 30 eFootball PES 2021 could be a good option to experience the latest version of the series in the eighth generation of consoles.

NFS heat can be the best NFS of this generation, but in comparison to other racing games like Forza Horizon, NFS heat can't do much and every part of the game feels outdated, especially for the AI. NFS heat still can be enjoyable at night, but the morning part is boring and unnecessary.

Rally Adventure may shine when it comes to visuals and pure entertainment, but as an expansion pack for the glorious Forza Horizon 5, you'd expect a much more comprehensive package. The substandard design of the roads and the nonexistence of official Rally rules are the main reasons why Rally Adventure is far behind the competition and it seems that Playground's new policy is dragging the Forza series into a repetitive cycle.

Startup Company is fun, addictive, and full of issues! The console version of the game suffers from numerous bugs and problems such as broken user interface that makes playing with a controller a pain and a weird save system. If you are patient enough to either wait for the bugs to sort out or just get along with them you'll probably have a good time, but otherwise you can either skip it for now or go for the PC version.

There is no denying that Sniper Elite 5 is the best game yet by Rebellion and the most complete entry in the series, but could it take the franchise to the next level and transform it from a mediocre experience to a top of the bar shooter? The answer is probably no.

Blooper Studio's attempt to take advantage of the cyberpunk genre's hype created by Cyberpunk 2077 neither fails nor pays off, as Observer: System Redux is mediocre adventure game that can't really challenge the new generation consoles.

Marvel's Avengers, as a package that tries to offer solid single-player action and durable multi-player experience, is a failure at its current state. It's not necessarily a bad game and it's actually fun and entertaining to interact with many of the super heroes from the Marvel's universe, but the final product can't keep up with the expectations.

Project CARS 3 is good, but not good enough to compete with the likes of GRiD or Forza Horizon. The path chosen by Slightly Mad studios for the third version of the game is full bumps that divert the whole series from being pioneers of the semi-simulation genre to an average racing game.
