The game is a feat of creative brilliance that should definitely be given a try by any gamer looking for a mellow, yet thought-provoking experience. Campo Santo has got a real winner here, and if Firewatch is any indication, it’s tough to contain any excitement over whatever the developer’s next project is.

Trails of Cold Steel is a superb game best experienced by those who’ve already immersed themselves in Trails’ lore. So while the game is still enjoyable without playing Trails in the Sky, I’d still wholly recommend picking those games up and finishing them before moving on to this one. You don’t need to, but doing so makes this good game great, and it’s a more affordable method of knowing whether this is the series for you.

So at the end of the day, is Madden NFL 17 worth the upgrade from last year’s solid entry? The gameplay received just the right amount of polish, Franchise Mode has gone through some long-awaited construction, and the presentation has been enhanced tenfold, so I’d say yes.

If The Fractured But Whole is your first South Park game, you’re in for a treat. If it isn’t, you’re still in for a treat. Just don’t expect it to surprise you as much as the last one did.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are giant steps forward from a series that might’ve been getting stale, and it’s hard to remember a time when the series was this engaging and enjoyable.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is every bit as awesome as the first. Not only is the sequel bigger, it hits closer to home on political issues such as social inequality, negligent leadership, and the hardships of an ongoing war.

$10 for what’s essentially the best attempt at reviving what could’ve been a heavily revered franchise is an easy price to pay, especially if you’re a Switch owner looking for something else other than Zelda to play as there’s definitely some enjoyment to be had with Blaster Master Zero.

...if we’re comparing Mario Kart from the 90’s to Mario Kart now, you honestly can’t have it any better. Switch owners finally have a definitive library piece other than Zelda, and the game definitely will hold its place as a leader in couch co-op for years to come.

The latest episode in Telltale’s The Walking Dead seemingly came out of left field, and it boasts an ending that really makes you second guess the decisions you made up to this point.

The writing so far is every bit as corny as an independent film crossed with a CW drama is, and it’s this writing style that has made the series so endearing, so it’s hard to not be excited to see what new developer Deck Nine has store for the next couple episodes.

It’s another win for Falcom as they continue to churn out quality games and be the envy of every developer in the genre, and we wish them the best as far as this great series gaining more noticeable mainstream attention.

Gamers have heard for years about how great the series is, and no Monster Hunter game demonstrates that better than Monster Hunter: World. The game is constantly cycling in new content to blend in with the game’s main campaign and meaty post-game with the bulk of it being free, making it hard to not praise Capcom for this feat.

It’s hard to even think of a game that gives players as many feels as Life is Strange does, and this bonus episode alone is a beautiful mess of emotions that succeeds at striking about every chord for players who’ve grown attached to the game’s main characters.

There’s a glaring flaw for nearly every aspect the game succeeds at, and with that, it’s tough to argue against the game’s overall look as well as the 8 or so hours of enjoyment there are to be had.

However way you look at or decide to play with it, there’s hardly ever a bad time for Lumines.

It starts off a little slow, but the game’s pacing and story make Shadow of the Tomb Raider the best entry in the current trilogy, which I would argue is even better than the Uncharted trilogy.

Problems aside, this is the best Smash yet, and it would be an understatement to say that the game has so much more. The game IS so much more, and there’s so much more coming.

Overcooked 2 is more of the same, if not even more chaotic, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
