At a cost of $29.99, there just isn't enough of a potential return on investment to justify Snow Moto Racing Freedom. The game wasn't bad to the point of being unplayable, it was just boring. And that can be almost worse than being unplayable.

In its current state NASCAR 21: Ignition isn’t a game worth playing no matter how much of a diehard racing fan you are. You’re better off sticking with last year’s NASCAR Heat 5 until major updates are made to a game that should’ve been delay.

RBI Baseball 21 had a chance to be the best game in the series. But too many shortcomings take away from any improvement the game had over last year, keepin g it a skippable title for many.

While this isn’t the game you play to expect a top-notch simulation of a baseball game, I feel there are certain things RBI Baseball 19 can touch up on in that department to help the crowd their trying to attract with this series.

While it does improve on some things from its predecessor, there are still too many flaws to really recommend this game to anyone looking for an alternative football experience.

Yet another attempt by EA to make the series relevant, Need for Speed Payback does few things right while doing so much wrong. From the dull and cliché story to the straight and narrow police chases, there's just nothing with this game that brings out any sort of excitement. The game looks nice and drives well, but it just isn't much fun which is the worst thing a video game can be.

Canadian Football is an okay foundation for a series that Canuck Play hopes will become an annual franchise. It offers glimpses of fun and is sure to see plenty of updates in the future, but it's a game that just lacks enough polish and substance to justify a price tag even as cheap as $15.99.

Dedicated players are going to pick this game up no matter what, but it’s tough to justify a $60 purchase on a game that feels too similar to what we’ve gotten the past three-plus years.

5.6 / 10.0 - Super Blood Hockey
Sep 6, 2017

Super Blood Hockey is a game that has its charm. From the great music to the generally fun gameplay, it's definitely worth giving it a look at such a low price. But unless you're playing with some friends, there's not much worth coming back to after completing the challenges and playing in a tournament or two.

There’s so much potential sitting there with the series, it just needs some heavy pressure to become the diamond it hopes to become. Hopefully, with the hype the game has generated, it can get the investments needed to make a bigger step forward in 2020.

5.8 / 10.0 - Axis Football 2019
Oct 9, 2019

Axis Football as a franchise has so much potential to be a great indie series, but with so limited on-field changes between 18 and 19, it feels more like a lost year than anything else.

Like real fishing, Call of the Wild: The Angler is a game that can be absolutely maddening yet gratifying at the same time. The game has fun fishing gameplay and what’s there is nice, there’s just not a lot of depth for those looking for a deep and fun fishing experience.
