Dec 29, 2020

MXGP 2020 is a game with some good things going for it, but there may not be enough there to keep casual motocross fans entertained for long.

6.5 / 10.0 - Rugby 22
Feb 22, 2022

Rugby 22 does some things a lot better than any rugby game of the past decade, especially on the field. Unfortunately, everything off the field keeps the game from having any sort of replay value unless you are a diehard.

6 / 10.0 - Disc Jam
Mar 25, 2017

Disc Jam is a nice base for something big in the future. It has a simple-to-grasp control scheme, fun and accessible gameplay, and even takes more strategy to succeed either solo or on a team than one would expect from a game like this. Sadly, it often feels too bare to spend as much time in it as other options out there.

6 / 10.0 - NBA Playgrounds
May 18, 2017

NBA Playgrounds has potential, but it just leaves too much in the locker room to be considered anything more than unpolished. At least there's no micro-transactions in this one.

It’s not the easiest game to pick up for newcomers to the series, but the feeling of accomplishment as you improve your skill on the road is not to be overlooked. With the amount of bikes to unlock and upgrade and tracks to enjoy, Ride 3 is a game that will impress with its depth.

6 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 20
Aug 1, 2019

Madden 20 is a game that will divide fans right down the middle. Fans who love MUT and have been getting the attention for all these years, will come back and really love what they have. Fans of modes like Franchise and Superstar may feel like enough is enough, no matter how great the action on the field is.

6 / 10.0 - AO Tennis 2

AO Tennis 2 is definitely a step up from the first game, but there’s still a lot that can be done to make the series a must-have for tennis fans, let alone sports fans.

Overpass is a good concept, but it should’ve stayed in the incubator a little longer to make it truly a good game.

Like real fishing, Call of the Wild: The Angler is a game that can be absolutely maddening yet gratifying at the same time. The game has fun fishing gameplay and what’s there is nice, there’s just not a lot of depth for those looking for a deep and fun fishing experience.

5.8 / 10.0 - Axis Football 2019

Axis Football as a franchise has so much potential to be a great indie series, but with so limited on-field changes between 18 and 19, it feels more like a lost year than anything else.

There’s so much potential sitting there with the series, it just needs some heavy pressure to become the diamond it hopes to become. Hopefully, with the hype the game has generated, it can get the investments needed to make a bigger step forward in 2020.

5.6 / 10.0 - Super Blood Hockey
Sep 6, 2017

Super Blood Hockey is a game that has its charm. From the great music to the generally fun gameplay, it's definitely worth giving it a look at such a low price. But unless you're playing with some friends, there's not much worth coming back to after completing the challenges and playing in a tournament or two.
