A Hat in Time doesn't reinvent the 3D platforming wheel, but it walks it with such confidence and panache that it would be criminal to overlook this game.
Next Jump is a great, but flawed game. There's good, tactical fun to be had if you can overlook some poor design.
It's a shame about the game's issues later in the campaign, because there's a lot to like in One Dog Story. The art design is great, the story is interesting, and the combat is satisfying; but poor design and technical issues hold the game back from its full potential.
Hopefully this game will be patched to the extent that people don't need to worry about losing hours of progress, but you should probably avoid purchasing until then.
Despite solid fundamental mechanics and satisfying controls, Blue-Collar Astronaut isn't worth your time or money. While a few of the mission designs are inspired, most are either bland or frustrating, and the game's attempts at comedy are smirk-worthy at best.
If you want play the time trials and can stomach, or at least ignore, the half-hearted attempt at a story then you might derive some enjoyment from Time Recoil. Still, things like the randomized ammo drops, muddy visuals, and poorly designed puzzles are needlessly frustrating, and your time and money would be better spent elsewhere.
