48 / 100 - Star Fox Zero
Jun 6, 2016

Star Fox Zero is not a good game. Ugh, I actually said it, a single tear rolled down my cheek as my fingers slowly pecked out that sobering sentence. Isn’t acceptance one of the first steps to recovery?

52 / 100 - Twisted Fusion

Folks, I have been a bad PSVG team member. I’ve been procrastinating on this review for quite some time. I cannot do that any longer for it is not fair to you, the reader. Both of our reviewers agree that Twilight Princess is a worthy purchase if you a) are a Zelda fan or b) if you own a Wii U. The visual upgrades are better than advertised even if the biggest Zelda game of all time still feels a little barren. Overall we’re a little hard on the classic Zelda remaster as we wish Nintendo did more to the address problems with the actual game and environments than just providing some nice visual updates (like they did with Wind Waker).

Feb 8, 2017

Do you remember waking up early on a Saturday morning? Your parents are still asleep, you stumble downstairs into the kitchen and make yourself a huge bowl of whatever sugar rush providing cereal you can find. Plunking down in front of your television set, the sand fading from your eyes, the vibrant lights of cartoon action and wacky sounds engross your attention. With each bite you fall further into the void of childhood bliss. This familiar childhood dimension is where Bleed 2 resides.

If you think of the Nintendo Switch as a portable, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an incredible leap for the series compared to Mario Kart 7 on 3DS. If the Nintendo Switch is your home console, then Mario Kart 8 Deluxe offers the same great experience as it did on Wii U with some added perks of battle mode and a resolution uptick. The art of racing is nearly perfect making Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a must buy for any Switch owner, but we still feel the game lacks balance at the higher competitive levels as some characters simply outperform others.
