80 / 100 - Narcosis
May 18, 2017

Narcosis is a game that draws you into its aquatic world of horrors and makes you hold your breath until you come out the other end. It's just a shame that you could almost finish it in that one breath, as it can be completed in about four hours. All in all we shouldn't hold this against it as not every game has to be a forty hour open-world epic. In the end, this brief adventure was well worth experiencing. Now excuse me while I go out and buy a VR set to dive back in!

60 / 100 - Aven Colony

If you're not already a fan of city-building games, this one will not win you over. To me, personally, it still feels more like doing work than playing a video game; I just didn't feel like I had any fun with it. I do see there are area's the developers put a lot of work in and the unique setting could very well be enough of a draw for fans of the genre to check this out.

It's a fun game if you play in small sessions as otherwise the combat may get too repetitive. The story has a lot of faults and one could probably make a case for skipping the story altogether and getting the better experience out of it. Fans of the Fate Series will want to try this out however as it's fun to be able to control your favorite characters from the previous games and anime shows and dish out damage by the thousands. There is also enough content here to keep you busy for about 20-30 hours (story included)

9.5 / 10.0 - Aaero
Jul 28, 2017

Aaero is an amazing experience with one of the best soundtracks I ever had the joy to listen to. It's genuinely fun to play and the songs will stick with me for weeks to come. It's a brilliant work of audio-visual art and my only complaint is there aren't more tracks to enjoy. If I ever see DLC for it, it'll be a snap purchase! Because as Flux Pavilion would say it: "I can't Stop"

All things considered, should you buy the Definitive Edition and play through it again if you already had the original version? Considering there are extra areas that have been added and the game has gotten easier (or harder if you choose to) + you can now traverse it more easily; I can wholeheartedly recommend it. I doubt many people will feel satisfied by one playthrough either way so this is the best possible method to experience it again. For players who are new to the game: It's no longer possible to buy the old version but it'll be included for free when you buy the Definitive Edition.

80 / 100 - Tekken 7
Oct 17, 2017

Tekken 7 is a great entry in the series that doesn’t take many chances in the gameplay department but has a bold story-mode and a very addictive Treasure Mode that will keep you coming back to the game time after time.

Mudrunner is a great game for its target demographic but it won't please people of just any audience. Nevertheless, I'm usually not a fan of "realistic" games yet I still found some enjoyment in plowing through the mud like a sadomachosist and it helped that I got to stare at the pretty pictures while doing so. It's a niche game that does what it sets out to do very well.

Telltale games is at it again, they’re masters at bringing us enjoyable interactive stories through their tried and tested formula. But isn’t the formula getting stale and shouldn’t they focus on new IPs instead of making sequels? Let’s dig in.

While the game may be too easy at times, it’s perfectly tuned for its target audience and a welcome stress-reliever for adults. It’s the perfect game to play alongside your children or to teach them how to play games as you can cooperatively get through the level, giving them a helping hand. The GORGEOUS Visuals have to be seen on a 4K/HDR screen to be believed and you’ll feel as if you’re truly a part of the Pixar worlds so credibly brought to life. Don’t skip on this game if you or your children are Pixar fans!

It's an easy game and there were some minor issues, but if you're a big Disney fan or if you have kids it's the perfect game to add to your Xbox One catalog.

9.5 / 10.0 - SOMA
Dec 16, 2017

SOMA is above anything else, an experience. The game's story is bound to stick with you for months after playing it, just like a great movie. It's pacing is damn near perfect and any fan of the genre should hit themselves over the head of they continue to ignore this one.

8.5 / 10.0 - Super Lucky's Tale
Dec 28, 2017

Super Lucky's Tale is a frustration-free experience that holds your attention for as long as it lasts. The Controls are damn near perfect, the Visuals are pretty to look at and the soundtrack is uplifting. This is a game you don't want to miss out on no matter your age, but the youngest among us will get the most fun out of it. If only it had just a bit more content to make for a longer lifespan…

All in all it felt too much like a filler episode and I wonder if Telltale games should really stick to their selfimposed "5 episodes per game" model as this one would have been better off being packed together with episode three.

5.5 / 10.0 - Strikers Edge
Feb 16, 2018

While I still love the idea behind the game and its visual appeal can be commended, it feels like it's too barebones an experience. It needs a better (and longer) campaign, more varied characters and a lot more arenas to keep you interested.

9 / 10.0 - Fe
Feb 20, 2018

Fe is a work of art. It's a tale of beauty and wonder and I thoroughly enjoyed discovering all this magical forest had to offer. It could have used a few more moments that were grand in scale like the colossal deer and I would have appreciated some help from the game in finding all the collectibles that I've missed, but I can wholeheartedly recommend it to players of any age.

If you're a fan of Collectibe Card Games you owe it to yourself to check this one out at least. It's free, it does a lot of the same things right as Hearthstone and even adds in a few interesting elements into the mix that can shake things up for those who've grown bored of it.
