Nathan Lee's Reviews

I've been a gamer since I was 5 years old, and grew up on Nintendo consoles. Only in the last decade or so have I expanded outwards to try out games from other developers and publishers. After an experimental phase in my late teens, I decided that RPGs were my favourite gaming genre, and those games are always top priority. I have maintained my love for Nintendo, and am both a fan and a critic of the company.
7 / 10 - Silent Hope

Silent Hope is a charming, short action RPG that will scratch the itch of those looking for a low stakes, loot-based hack-n-slash.

Vanillaware has handled 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim's Switch port with the utmost care and, with some of the changes, may even be better than the PS4 version. If you love RPGs, have an affinity for excellent stories, are in the mood for some good brain exercise, or just looking for a nice 30-hour experience in gaming, look no further than 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

Calling Persona 5 Strikers “just another Musou game” would be a disservice. I definitely recommend giving it a shot if it was on your radar at all, since it provides an experience so removed from regular Musou games and reuniting with the Phantom Thieves for more adventures seems to guarantee a fun time. Just one more spin-off to go before Persona 5 matches Persona 4‘s record. Will we see more of the Phantom Thieves in the future? All I know for sure is that I’m on board.

For its time, it's easy to see how Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light had a massive appeal to fans looking to get into the SRPG genre.

Persona 5 Royal is possibly the best enhanced port ever made, and it helps that the original material is still as amazing as ever. This is a must play for RPG fans.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is Fire Emblem at the top of its game. Only a few games in my life have ruined my sleep schedule like Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Getting back home late after work, playing until I saw the sun rise, agonizing over in-game decisions, laughing and crying alongside the cast… this is what it means to truly fall in love with a game. Three Houses should be a part of any Switch owner’s library at some point. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want in a video game: good graphics, great music, an epic story and, of course, top-notch gameplay. Fire Emblem has a new, higher bar moving forward, and hopefully we’ll see this effort replicated for future titles.
