If you're prepared to learn a lot, and have plenty of time to spare, My Time at Portia is very enjoyable. Sporadic use of a guide will allow you to experience it in the fun, relaxed way it was intended.

5 / 10.0 - Vane

Vane has some good ideas, but in stretching them out for too long across a pretty empty world, it soon becomes tiresome and frustrating.

Forever Forest looks and sounds nice, but that unfortunately masks a game with performance issues and repetitive gameplay that will put many people off.

An ideal recommendation for veterans of the genre, Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt scratches a really familiar itch. But there's nothing new here to entice newcomers away from other titles.

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn has a great game tucked away inside. But the time that has passed since the original and the extra additions tarnish the experience we fondly remember.

The Mystery of Woolley Mountain is an average point and click game that loses its spark by the end. A good mix of puzzles is offset by an unengaging plot and characters.

Hell is Other Demons is an addictive title that rewards the time you put into it. A decent amount of content and difficulty make it well worth considering.

7.5 / 10.0 - Team Sonic Racing

Team Sonic Racing isn't the best karting game out there. But its well-executed team mechanic changes the way you play, making it a worthy addition to the genre.

Layers of Fear 2 starts off scary but runs out of ideas quickly. It tells an interesting story but is marred by out of place action sections.

7 / 10.0 - Gato Roboto

Gato Roboto is a short, sharp burst of Metroid fun, with cats. It sounds daft, but strong level design and a few original tweaks make it well worth a look.

7.5 / 10.0 - Chippy
